I went with my family last night and the service and food was wonderful. I had the lemon sole and my wife the had fillet steak with peppercorn sauce. We are very lucky to have this fantastic restaurant on our door step. We will be back very soon!

Lovely relaxed atmosphere at lunchtime with friendly attentive service. The pate was very nice but the pate to bread ratio was off and the salad âgarnishâ overwhelmed the plate a little. My husbands pollo Milanese was very nice but he found spaghetti and chips on the same plate a little odd. My sea bass was a little overlooked and under seasoned but still enjoyable. The tiramisu was really tasty . Would definitely return

Called in on a Sunday morning for a coffee while walking our pup. The seats outside provide a perfect opportunity to people watch whilst enjoying a lovely cappuccino. Great friendly service

We came here with friends and perfect choice. Atmosphere was buzzy and place full. For starters we shared the calamari and then the meatball and the aubergine dish. For mains I took the risotto with blue cheese, walnuts and squash which was lovely, other pizza or pasta dishes. Really nice bottle of Sicilian Fiano to wash it all down. Lovely.

Authentic Italian. Great choice of menu. We can highly recommend the mussels , lasagne, linguine & seafood risotto. Fantastic choice of wines too. I like the fact the owner always takes time to chat at the end of his customers meals. If we want it Ian food we would always choose here.Many thanks for your kind review. Thought we would treat ourselves, along with our daughter and granddaughter, to an early evening meal but it wasnât quite the treat we expected. The bruschetta was soggy as the bread was hardly toasted and wasnât even as good as I make at home although the garlic bread with tomato was very nice. The carbonara was ok but came without the requested extra chicken. The lamb wasnât particularly good and the risotto very ordinary. The dessert choices were limited on the early bird menu and the ice cream accompanying the chocolate fudge cake had strawberry sauce on it which wasnât pleasant at all and definitely did nothing for the dessert, I left most of it. Wonât be making a return visit in a hurry.

Dined here for a business dinner at the recommendation of our client. The restaurant was convenient because it is in walking dinner of the hotel where my team were lodging.I had the mushroom risotto which was delicious. My dessert was the strawberry and cream cheesecake which was light and not too sweet.The service was good.

Early evening mid week booking, so was pleasantly surprised how busy it was. I ask for carbonara, which wasn't on the menu. Low and behold they cooked it for me and it was delicious. Used my meal voucher to get one main free. Thank you
