We have come to El Forno many times over the last few years and are never disappointed. The pizzas are delicious. Lately I had the Scallopini Lemon, and it was superb. The vegetables were a nice surprise, perfectly cooked and delicious. The servers are always delightful ! It's hard to find a restaurant that never disappoints but this one is a sure bet every time!

Ate at both locations and the pizza is the best!! Better than in Italy, NYC, Chicago!! We got the mushroom with ham (5500c) and pepperoni (6000c) for 4 adults and 2 kids. We ate it all up!! Also, the guys are so nice and appreciative of the business!! Wish it was here in the states.

My wife and I and our three kids ate there many times. Delicious food. Jeanneth and Jaime were great hosts. Our kids are young and fussy eaters. They were amazing in helping adapt their dishes to the finicky palates of my children. My personal favorite was the seafood linguine dish. We ate there maybe 4 nights in a week. Came away happy every time. Food was great and the ambience that Jeanneth and Jaime created was amazing. They are both very friendly and speak excellent English.

Walter has been making the best Pizza's in the area for years! The whole family love their pizza's. Their new location is a lovely experience in the evening and all laid out just like a traditional Italian pizzeria restaurant. Affordable and delicious!

We were so impressed by this restaurant. Authentic, delicious, and fresh Italian dishes that embrace the amazing local seafood. Service was amazing, they were so accomadating and gracious. The butternut squash gnocchi was the best Iâve ever had. Whenever I come back to Costa Rica this is the first place I am going!

On a really hot day, sat outside and we were surprised how pleasant it was around 6:00. Cute spot. But the food is certainly the highlight. We love Italy, and much of that love is for its food, it was wonderful to find a truly Italian restaurant in the part of the world! My wife had the shrimp ravioli which was especially good. Weâre returning a second time tonight which we donât often do as we like to try as many places as possible when in a new area. But the taste of Italy always draws us back...

There are lots of pizza places popping up in this area due to an influx of Italians. La Locanda does not disappoint. The owners were very friendly. We had calzones, which are large (a full pizza folded in half) and they were amenable to some slight changes in the stuffing - such as no onions. The Calzones were delicious. They also had good beverages. The place was hopping and the clients were locals and tourists. We will definitely be back.

If you're craving pasta, this is the place to go. Try the carbonara and you won't be disappointed! The chef-owner takes great pride in his offerings, the place is comfortable and the service is excellent.

My family and I went a couple of nights ago. We were amazed at how good the thin crust pizza was. The foccacia makes a great appetizer with olive oil and rosemary on grilled pizza dough. One of Costa Ricaâs top choices in Italian food. Had various dinners there and no plate disappointed. Pasta is good, so is the seafood and meats. Make space for dessert and be sure to have a reservation.
