Luns Rossa is the "other restaurant" in the Coronado Bay area you can walk to.It's covered, open air dining room plays sophisticated music, it's owner and staff are multi lingual, incuding our charming and efficient server Diana and it's food, well prepared, timely served and pretty authentic. This is the only restaurant in the Coronado Panama area and in surprisingly most places we ate in Panama where noone young or older showed up in short shorts or t shirts and had some elegance and really good home baked bread. Less mark up on bottles and more reasonable wine choices on the menu would make me happier but that was an issue I have in most restaurants everywhere in Panama .I recommend this restaurant to grown ups who want to eat good food, in a subdued, elegant atmosphere frequented by patrons who seem to like that too and an owner and staff that I'm giving 5 dots to keep it that way .

My wife and I are regular clients-we go at least once a week.Franco runs the front and his wife Sandra is the marvelous chef!!! There is no restaurant in Coronado that comes close in quality of the dishes served --Time tested the cuisine there is super Service is super --personal in an outdoor laid back ambiance --Please dont go there if you want a super quick meal.Plan on relaxing and enjoying the experience There is an oriental saying I like "GOOD THING NO CHEAP--- CHEAP THING NO GOOD"The food is not cheap !! The quality is superb!!!

First I must say the lasagna that I ordered as cooked properly and served in a very hot dish. It was very tasty and is one of the better lasagna dishes that I have had in Panama. However, it was not served with a bread or toast that is normally served with this type of dish. I asked for some garlic toast. I was served with two slices of bread cut in half with some garlic spread on the top. When I received the check I was SURPRISED to see the charge for the bread was $3.05. Won't be back soon as there are other choices for Italian food in the Coronado area.
