We went here based solely on the reviews of others for the pizza. However, pizza is only served Thursday- Sunday, 4:00- closing! Be very careful of your timing on this! I couldn't find this information anywhere and we would not normally have gone here. I hope this helps others as they plan their trip.

We ordered the pizza ahead to pick it up.. always fresh and hot and delicious pizza!! Defintely old school...place looks the same as it did when I went there with my parents in highschool. They have good Greek salads and nice grinders too.. The usual MO is order at the counter then go pick a table whether waiting for it to go or dining in..

I never get tired writing good reviews on restaurants that deserve all fellow Trippers patronage. Thatâs what itâs all about, isnât it letting travelers know where the best places are to stay, eat and visit? Hereâs one!Tuesday was âManicotti Dayâ as the special and it was outstanding! Companion had the eggplant sandwich and said it was delicious too. We both thoroughly enjoyed our leisurely luncheon. Very good value. All good! What made it so much fun and remarkable was the attention and friendliness of the staff and the owner was there too making sure all diners were well served. Highly recommend. The recipe for the best dinner! Their pizzas are wonderful, fresh ingredients and crispy light crusts. Their wings are the best around and there is a variety of sauces to appeal to everyone - even my favorite which is no sauce and extra crispy! And you can't beat their cannoli's - well maybe you can with some of their amazing gelato - so many flavors! Highly recommend!

Ate dinner at Trattoria Rustica twice while on vacation in the Berkshires and was impressed both times. Robust offerings, excellent quality food and presentation at moderate prices. The puttanesca was especially good. Bread and olive oil provided with the meal were outstanding. Wine by the glass was on the pricey side but portion was ample. Courteous, efficient and friendly staff. Ambience of the restaurant is remarkably good. It is deceptively better than what you might anticipate from the restaurantâs modest exterior. I only wish Trattoria Rustica were a restaurant in my home town. I would be one of its regular customers.

Papa Joe's pizza might even be the best pizza in the area. Love the Corleone with pepperoni instead of ham! The eggplant parm is also delicious. This place is our go to for Italian take out. We've dined in also; service was great, decor dated.

I went to this restaurant with my grandmother on a rainy Monday night in mid-October. The music was very good and quiet enough for chitchat, but my grandmother complained that the place had paper napkins. I had the chicken Parmesan, and it was really good, and then I had the cannoli, and it was also very good. The service was very good, and it was overall a very good experience.Thank you for your recent revue and visit to the Rainbow Restaurant with your grandmother. My only qualm is that we have always used linen napkins with the exception of adding with the service paper napkins understandably with our chicken wings, barbeque baby back ribs and the like and of course if paper napkins are requested in addition with our linen napkins that are at each place setting rolled with the silverware. We look forward to serving you again and the opportunity to garner a five star review. We appreciate your business.

I've been here a few times for takeout, but haven't had a chance to sit-down in the restaurant before. This time I had the chance to eat at the restaurant with a large group in the outdoor patio. Unfortunately wires got crossed and the folks didn't know our group was coming, so they were very understaffed. I ended up getting takeout and eating it outside with my friends. The pizza was good, and perhaps this was just a little hiccup from the management. Hopefully some day I'll get to eat off a plate at the restaurant!

This place was recommended by our bed and breakfast located 6 miles away. Itâs big and there is a large car park. Booking process was easy and we were seated after a few minutes wait. Incidentally, it was nice to see the ladies at reception wiping down all the table menus when they were not busy. Our waitress Melissa F was excellent. She was clearly familiar with the menu and steered us away from several potential âwrongâ choices. The portions are very big by UK standards and we were especially glad that we ordered just one goats cheese salad and asked for it to be split, it was still a large salad.I had one of the chicken and broccoli pasta dishes for main course and once again I was pleased that Iâd selected the âhalf portionâ option. The food was all good, but there was nothing special about any of it, it was just OK.Normally, Iâd just give this a average 3* rating, but because our waitress was so helpful, itâs just crept up into a 4*, but only just!
