Things to do in Pieve di Teco
After having a cold shoulder at Il Gatto e la Volpe, we decided to go to La Grotta because it was the only place serving lunch in Pieve on that day. What a nice surprise for a simple lunch! The waitress was super friendly and the panini menu offered a nice selection in the 5-6 euro range. They were very accommodating when I asked to substitute the ham for some cheese on my burger panino. The burger meat is local and fresh and really nicely grilled, and served on a nice Italian bun. Add a beer to that and you get a great easy lunch! They also have singers on the weekend and I will go this coming Saturday. Pieve is very international and it might be a nice event...with another beer and a nice panino :-)

Fixed menu, you cannot choose but food is good and well prepared. Fresh ingredients, not so traditional

Really great authentic Ligurian cuisine, very friendly service (and multilingual staff) and prices that will make you smile :)We had the degustation menu with numerous antipasti, 2 primi (delicious gnocchi and ravioli al ragu), 3 different secondi (snails, capon and goat), dessert, coffee and digestives all inclusive. A feast!!!
Lovely couple and a huge platter of cold meats, cheese and pizza with your drink. Good local wine also.

On Monday many restaurants are closed but fortunately they are open. Price fixed lunch 15 Euro, two courses, salad, desert, coffee and water. Two had delicious plates of rabbit, one pasta and one prosciutto and melon. All excellent. All four of us highly recommend this restaurant. Enjoy!

What this place might lack in atmosphere it makes up for in great pizzas and very friendly staff. We often come here when in the area as they really are very good and price is fantastic

This is one of the best restaurants we have ever visited. It's up a steep hill, by a spectacular church. The food is excellent with a procession of little and very tasty courses, accompanied by local wine and bottled water, finishing with coffee - all for the good price of 25 euros. The goats' cheese and rabbit courses were excellent.

I went there again today for the third time and it was really excellent and the best time ever. Very friendly and accommodating staff, great food for a degustation menu at 20â¬/person. Hard to beat! Great quality price! The décor is very Italian minimalistic...but the food is great! Yours to try. Look at my pictures!

It's small very simple and down to basics pizzaria in a very authentic manner. From the outside it's easy to miss as it blends well into the surrounding buildings. We visited this place during the summer and it was quite busy. We immediately got a seat, but had to wait a little for the food. We had pizzas all around. They were made in a real wood burning owen and quite rustic. The reception of the various pizzas we had was generally good, but if you love thin slices of parma ham etc. on you pizza the more chunky toppings might seem to rustic. Service was friendly enough and even with no italian skills we manage to order. It was an authentic expirience, but we didnt end our holiday search for the perfect pizza at Pizzeria del Maniscalco.

I could give a rating between 3 and 4. Better than 3 but 4 is too much. I still wish TripAdvisor had a better system with at least 10* because I would give it a 6.The restaurant is very Italian in the décor. It's not a criticism, but it could be warmer. Talking about temperature, it was rather cold in there :( it would have been nice to heat up the restaurant before lunch time. The food is good but there is a serious lack of presentation. It's more like mum's cooking. It all tastes good but it's average after all.The best is the service: friendly and effective.A decent choice for Pieve di Teco but they could do better.Dear Customer, thanks a lot for your preference and for having spent a little bit of your time to report your experience in our restaurant. For us your opinion is very important, just so we can improve and innovate every day and provide even a better experience. By the way in the end of 2015 we had some problem with our heating system, for this reason we wait you for a next visit. Your Daniela.
