Small family-run fresh fish restaurant, the cuisine is simple and cared for with a careful choice of raw materials. The restaurant is welcoming with permanent and temporary displays of works of art by international artists. Since 1985 run by the same fami
We really enjoyed choosing the fresh fish before they prepared them for our meal. Great local wines and service with a smile were a real treat. If you're close to Pontassieve, try it out! (Note that this restaurant is close to the train station.)

This little place was so busy yet remained brilliant. The pizzeria is run by an old chap who was making each pizza fresh and cooking them in a woodburning pizza over. Service was attentive but gave you lots of space! Food very reasonable.ij price and excellent in flavour. Lovely littlr find whilst driving through the Tuscan hills

Immersed in the green of the hills of Valdarno Valdarno Fiorentino, at approximately 5 kilometers from Rignano sull'Arno, you will find Torri, a small Tuscan village, merely a handfull of houses, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. It is in one of t
Was lucky enough to attend an exceptionally designed local food and wine degustazione. Wow! That is the word that represents the experience. The food was so appealing that my wife who is a vegetarian tried the meat dishes for the first time in years. All I can say is hats off to the chef and team. As I understand, these evening events only happen occasionally but it sure is worth it!

We had spent a day in Florence and had called our agriturismo for suggestions for a restaurant and this was their suggestions. They took all 14 of us. The servers tolerated our lack of Italian and were extremely helpful when it came to making suggestions! We had wonderful pizzas and pasta- possibly our best meal to that date despite our time in Venice!

I have made about 1,000 reviews and this is the most incredible. We had been driving around Tuscany for a few hours when we decided to look for a restaurant for lunch. We used this application and saw this restaurant 30 mn away by car. We decided to call to make a booking but nobody picked up the phone. We drove all the way up the hills and parked nearby the restaurant. My wife went inside at around 1.30 pm in this busy restaurant to ask if there was a table available and one of the waitresses told her that one table had just been vacated and that she would get it ready for us. The 3 of us (my daughter Giorgia is 3 years old) went into the restaurant and we waited a few minutes at the reception whilst our table was being prepared. Less than 5 mn larer we were shown to our table by the waitress. As we were sitting down a red-eyed waiter stormed towards us and asked us to leave the table explaining that he had to prepare a table for 11 people. We stood up and walk towards the waitress who gave us the table but she denied giving us the table and told us we have spoken to her TWIN! What an incredible experience of deep humiliation. Being excluded from a table and being told we had to leave the restaurant without booking when we had been told there was a table for us. That is a painful experience from people visiting Tuscany. By the way my wife and daughter are Italian so there was no issue with translation. You decide afterwards if you want to eat is a restaurant which treats people line this it is your choice. I would recommend IL RETROVO in Rufina where we had great food yesterday.

We spent 6 nights in Pontassieve and we spent three of those evenings at Sandrino´s! It was crowded every night and this was in the end of October. They serve very good pizza, pasta and other food as well. The place is familyrun. The son was our waiter every time we were there. He ( and the whole family) is so serviceminded and friendly, and he speeks really good English. We finished off every dinner with a nice Aperol Spritz for the adults and icecream for the children.
