Nice guys which try hard....but what's missing is the final gear of Italian kitchen. Even, the Peissenbergers will not realise it , they believe Pizza&Pasta is all what italian kitchen offers.

During our 4-day visit in Peissenberg we visited this place twice. The staff is (at least most of them) genuine Italian. I liked the Italian atmosphere and enjoyed of the possibility to speak some Italian with the staff. The staff is the best :) Both times we had pizzas. They were very tasty, like real Italian ones must be! The crust was thin, crispy and tasty. The toppings were of good quality and delicious. Good chocolate cake and grappa, too. The prizes are not the lowest but this place is definitely not expensive. I recommend sincerely.

After visiting Neuschwanstein Castle we were passing through Steingaden in route to Munich. Stopped here for some pizza. And did it not disappoint! Their dough, top notch. I have yet to visit Italy but this seemed like the real deal. Itâs a family operated joint and the owner/chef comes from Italy. Totally caught us by surprise on how good his pies are and well priced, would highly recommend if looking for Italian fare.

Superior taste of the real Italian tasty Pizza. It has the distinct taste which made us wonder what herb has been added. But we know it was delicious and of special savor.

Das GelatOK hat seit Jahren mit das beste Eis im ganzem Umkreis. Die Preise sind in Ordnung (1,20 ⬠für eine Kugel Eis) und die Kugeln können sich wirklich sehen lassen. Auf dem Gehsteig gibt es ein paar Tische mit Sonnenschirmen zum DrauÃen sitzen. Parkplätze gibt es einige in der Nähe. Von daher - wirklich ideal für ein leckeres Eis, wenn man in der Nähe ist.

Sicherlich ein sehr kleiner Laden und viele würden es auch nicht wirklich als âRestaurantâ betiteln, aber wer hier mal sein Essen (Nudeln, Pizza usw.) abgeholt oder vor Ort gegessen hat, weià von was ich rede.Empfehlenswert ist es, einfach mal nach Dingen zu fragen, die nicht auf der Karte stehen, wie selbstgemachte Nudeln aus Kürbis- oder Bärlauchteig. Auch bringt es was, wenn man am Ruhetag vor der Tür steht, Hunger hat und einfach mal anklopft... âDie Mamaâ macht sicher auf und kocht, wenn sie da ist.

I couldn't fault this Italian restaurant which served delicious, hot pasta with nice starters, house wine and coffee to finish. Service was excellent. We got the last table so think about booking. If you fancy pasta then go here!

We have been numerous times in this refurbished and nice restaurant with authentic Italian food cooked from Italy people. Very nice restaurant, excellent prices, great service and consistent excellent food. The place to go for high quality Italian cuisine.

While two pizzas is hardly the measure of a restaurant, it is a good start. Crusts were perfectly done. The toppings were generous and the ingredients of high quality as best we could tell. The smell and taste tests put the pizzas in a category with many of the best we have had anywhere. The service was friendly, prompt and helpful, but you would expect that from the owner. Should we visit Schongau again, we would order something more representative of the restaurants full capabilities.As an aside, the restrooms were clean and did not smell of dirty diapers. For that, I was grateful.
