The best view of the lake, volcanos and the all mountains. And now with new italian food menu. Delicious pizzas and wood horno. Made home fettuccine and raviolis.
My family & I had the opportunity to have lunch at El Gran Mirador Restaurant on Oct. 9, 2014. The view was unbelievable, the food was excellent & the service was great. 4 "STARS" until I received the bill. I paid with American Express Credomatic (they had a large sign saying they accepted American Express Credomatic). When I got back my receipt I noticed I was charged an 8% fee for paying with a credit card. I stated that in the past as well as during this vacation I had never been to any business in Guatemala that added this credit card fee. I then offered then to pay with USD but was immediately informed that their would be a 10% additional charge to accept USD. I left the bill as paid with American Express. To my surprise, when reviewing the bill later, I discovered that the original bill for 341 Quetzals actually added up to only 310 Quetzals. The amounts in question are insignificant - the problem is that it took away from a good experience and replaced it with one of displeasure..
We are a new concept in Lake Atitlan, with one of the best views of the lake and all three volcanos. You can enjoy the view of eating and drinking from our from our terrace or any part of the restaurant. We have a modern interior with an open space kitche

Reviewed by Frommer's, we lied it a lot, located next to Posada de los Volcanes (already listed on TripAdvisor)
We went there for lunch as there weren't that many options around and didn't feel like walking much. The best thing about this place was the cold beers! Food was average, I had the cannelloni with red sauce, which were pretty descent, and my partner had the Alfredo chicken fettuccini, which were uneatable!

We ate here on a "walk by", when the wood fired pizza sign caught our eye. We ordered a medium pizza, which took almost 45 minutes to be prepared. The price was not cheap. No service between the order and pizza delivery and none after. Would not go back.

I was GRANDPAcking in Panajachel for 5 nights.I quickly found the Lazzaroni for breakfast. For GTQ20 you get their Ranchero/Tipico breakfast which starts with a bread biscuit and porridge followed by the Ranchero. It includes unlimited tea / coffee.Good value for money for a tourist spot in Guatemala.

Our group had a wonderful dinner at the Ristorante la Lanterna. You enter from a lovely covered porch, which is available for seating. Inside, you are under a huge palapa in a room full of windows. We were there after dark, so I cannot speak to the view, but the inside is certainly attractive. Our meal had a delicious and unusual vegetable soup to start things off. The wine selection is impressive to say the least. And it was one of the few places I ate in Guatemala that actually offered a fish selection for dinner. The proprietor took care of us personally, and I could not have felt more pampered. I heard that the hotel is really nice as well and wouldn't mind staying there on my next visit. I highly recommend this charming and delicious place for dinner.

The idea behind Atlantis was to offer something totally different, a little more bohemian and dynamic, with a beautiful garden, where you can enjoy nature everyday in a fresh and comfortable environment. At night, when the lights are turned on, the atmosp
Situated at the end of the main drag. Very quiet on a Sunday night. We had pizzas, fish and chips and burgers, which were all pretty good quality but more expensive than other places we had tried. None if the cheapest beer options available. Overall average, nothing special.

The ambience at this restaurant was great and the service was excellent. The food was delicious we had the BBQ ribs, the Black sea bass and the lemon honey chicken for appetizers and we were extremely satisfied with our meals. This is by far my favorite meal in Guatemala. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Can't go wrong with the pizza here. A large variety of pizzas and drinks fill the menu and there are some vegetarian or vegan options. We were a party of 12 and arrived at a good time because shortly after we were seated, it quickly became standing room only for a table. There's no A/C or ventilation so go early or in the evening when it is cooler. Do not order the soup though. Two adults in our party ordered the same soup and both had the same reaction-bland and without substance. It was basically bullion with a few noodles and a chicken taste. We informed the owner and she apologized and brought a jar of dehydrated tomatoes for the road since we had already paid. Beer was nice and cold and service was sufficient. thanks a lot for your positive comment! sorry that the soup was not to your liking, it is made from scratch, bones and beef meat broth, no chicken involved and no MSG, little salt. hope you enjoyed the tomatoes! best regards

My wife and I ate here in March 2019 and had an excellent lite meal of two pizzas/chips and beer. The pizzas (Meat and pepperoni) were not huge but very fresh and tasty and the chips were also brilliant.Service was speedy and excellent ( 1 hour total time) and the owner went way âabove and beyindâ by helping us contact our hotel to reschedule our return taxi.Thoroughly recommend.
