Locale molto accogliente, pulito e ben curato. Suggerito.

Close to one of the biggest Certosa (monastery) in Europe, we found this restaurant and were welcomed by friendly and efficient staff. We had a delightful meal with local products, well-finished dishes and truly abundant portions: Parmigiana di Melanzane, Antipasto della Certosa, homemade Ravioli, Fusilli con Salsiccia e Provola, Spaghetti alle Vongole, and, to end it on a sweet note, fresh strawberries topped with lemon ice cream.

On my summer trip back, i was being introduced to dine at this place which not only has a beautiful scenery, but also a relaxing one; where anyone is able to enjoy their meal happily. As i was unsure of what to order, the servers had recommended a few of their local dishes for me to savor. Little plates of small appetizers were being served first. I started tasting them individually and was surprised to how their taste is similar to some of the dishes that i indulge in when i am back in Asia.To be far away from home, Asian food is my greatly missed cuisine and to be able to find a restaurant that uses different ingredients but have the same taste as an Asian food, makes me really happy. The people are friendly, and also patient with sharing the background history of the restaurant with me; knowing that i do not really speak Italian. As i was unsure of what to eat and wanted something like, they served an array of other mains that were light to my taste buds.Overall it was such an enjoyable meal and i would definately return here to visit this place again.

We felt that the restaurant was wonderful. We have been there a few other times, and at this point, I wanted to let others know. You feel very comfortable in such a place because it has a feeling of simplicity, good people, and great food. The meals that we have had have been excellent. They have been cooked well, served well, and were deliciously made. The portions were excellent and the wine was good, also. The waiter, Giovanni, is very friendly, also, and assisted us with directions. Thanks for the review by all staff

After an enthusiastic visit to the Certosa we stopped over for lunch in this country guesthouse with annexed restaurant. The area is full of green and especially nice and safe for young kids. The restaurant was full ( it was Sunday) and we had to wait quite long before being served. The choice is not so wide, but food was good and prices were low ( around 20⬠).

We have a bar inside the external court of the Certosa and a restaurant and pizzeria in front of the main entrance. We offer menù for tourists and organized groups.
It is a very little but nice restaurant with a warm service, tasty dishes and very modest prices. We've taken a tourist menu which was all good, with a wast variety of the offer. I'd suggest it for lunches in a nice and comfortable atmosfere.Dear client, thank you for the beautiful comment you have about our place and i hope that you will return soon.

Piccolo ristorantino siituato su una collinetta da cui si puo ammirare in tutta la sua estensione La Certosa di San Lorenzo.
The restaurant is at the edge of old town of Padula, overlooking the plain and the imposing Chartreuse below. We tried it for a quick lunch after a visit to the Chartreuse. Home cooking, very tasty: we ordered spaghetti with beef sauce, provolone cheese grilled, water and little bulk wine. The invoice was surprisingly low (just over 13 euro per person), but this can often happen when you are traveling in the Southern Italy away from the sea and the most popular tourist destinations. Certainly to be recommended

Located on a hill in a quiet area, from here you can admire a beautiful valley. The place where you eat is small, but cozy with a beautiful fireplace that creates the right atmosphere. Here you can sample typical Padulesi dishes, homemade pasta and genuine products, as they should do all the farmhouses worthy of the name. A little uncomfortable to get there by car, but lunch and then walk around reward the effort.
