Facing the site of the Hell's Well on the seafront, creating a unique place classy and cozy at a time. A terrace with a breathtaking panoramic view of the ocean! The Chardons prepare you a cuisine of the sun composed of pasta and authentic pizza
Set overlooking the sea this beautiful restaurant has ambiance in spades. The Italian menu is fantastic with some unusual dishes. All the bread is made on site. The service is great & very friendly with food beautifully cooked & presented, Try the burger served on focacia bread instead of the usual bun.Pizzas are on offer, including half size, served with salad. Good wines. Lovely puds. Children are well catered for.The prices are very reasonable. This will be top of our list for a return visit.

We pRked on the Quai on a Monday evening and prepared to walk along the harbour to find a restaurant that was open (many close on Mondays) with an interesting menu. The very first place was Le Poggio and people on the window tables were eating the most delicious looking pizza - so we went in! What a good choice! The pizzas were excellent - Italian, not the French version, cooked in a wood fired oven. There was one waitress serving the whole restaurant (about 36 covers) and she did so very efficiently. Friendly and helpful. Our pizzas arrived very quickly and were eaten almost as fast! Two of us (gluttons!) had ice cream afterwards which was delivered by the chef - also very friendly and cheerful. All in all an excellent experience. Cannot recommend highly enough.

A quiet July evening. Kids at Grand parents. And an hour to have much expected great spaghetti!! The menu said garlic spaghetti slightly fried with fresh seafood 'légèrement relevé'. We got a bowl of spaghetti swimming in a waterly sauce that might have been piquant 2-3 hours before. A couple of crevettes and mussels holding the role of seafood. The service was average to below average. It has been a great disappointment as we were recommended the place. I know the region as I am born here and I am as well aware of the intensity of summer season however I clearly have noticed a sharp decrease in quality of both food and service. This comment does not concern only A Casetta however the place is a good illustration of the mentality: Let's rip off the stupid tourists, I really felt that. Will never come back.

Veal escalope was smothered in sauce and tagliatelle, served in a dish like a lasagne with a veal esacalope at the bottom of this pile of sludge. Totally ruined the escalope, cooked to rubber. We tried to get a side salad and fites, but the waiter wasn't having it. He said it came "seulement comme ca". Good chianti. Wouldn't go back, unless we wanted a pizza. They looked ok at the other tables.

Weâre a family of 4 looking for a local pizza for dinner and came across Mona Liza. Saturday evening, no reservation and we got a table outside. Great service, easy menu and great food. We had 2 Cokes, a beer and small wine with 4 large pizzas for â¬82 and really enjoyed it. Worth a visit.

This has a somewhat eclectic menu with , tataki, poke bowls and burgers etc but in a sense that means thereâs probably something youâd like on the list. 13 euros for a burger is a little on the plus cher side but then it was chicken coated in âcornflakesâ and with a delicious sauce and accompanied by some of the best sweet potato fries Iâve ever had. They came in a grease proof bag but thatâs ok as rather than being a poncey affectation, it actually helped. A very good cafe gourmand for 7 euros and a decent glass of rose for 3.20 euros were good value. The staff were amused by my efforts at French and there are a few tables outside but itâs a small place so booking is a good idea. If they look full, there is another room up stairs.
