We've had take out pizzas from this place quite a few times before and thought their pizzas were okay but the most recent experience was, frankly, awful.The base was tough and chewy yet it was under-cooked. I don't know how that combination could happen but we had to cut our mouthfuls with a knife and the edge crust was inedible. The pizza toppings we far from delicious and the whole thing was so unappetizing we ate less than half of it.This is not a cheap pizza and we're disappointed that this convenient local vendor has let its standards slip so badly that we won't be going back.It's perhaps indicative of where they're headed that when we picked up our pizza at around 7:30pm on a Saturday evening the place was empty of customers.

In a location where fast food and Mexican restaurants are the norm it has taken a while to find good Italian, other than pizza, Two Brothers from Italy in Oceanside and Mama N Papa's in Vista (see separate review) fit the bill. Pizza seems to be the headliner though. They also offer calzone, many different pasta's, and oven baked subs. They cook when you order so most items can be customized. Pizza's offered are NY Style, Sicilian, gourmet and a giant 28", limited salads and deserts. We usually get the spaghetti with meatballs or raviolis. $8.95 (less $1 for lunch). One of the local magazines has their ad but the ad never changes, same special month after month,so why read it? Best to check prices on web site. honor most credit cards, delivery in some locations, but not in Oceanside. Portions are big and they are very helpful, even getting a ladder to turn off the ceiling fan overhead for me Just too cold.

All these positive reviews must have been the band of surfer dudes that work there. This is the greasiest, most unevenly topped pizza we've ever had. The "buffalo bites" were like bagel bites filled with some mystery meat and drizzled with terrible buffalo sauce. They were rude and stingy with the stuff like plates and parmesan cheese to go. You can eat there if you want to share your table with all the homeless drug addicts that populate the surrounding area. I would recommend skipping this place.

Our group of about 17 or 18 visited for a Tuesday night social/dinner. We had private section that was nice. Our server Sara was great. She handled all the drinks, entree orders, separate checks, etc., with grace, courtesy and efficiency. Our entrees just about covered the gamut of things you could order and the portions were generous (noticed several take home boxes). The long U-shaped table was covered with a paper table cloth and crayons were supplied. Several would-be artists tried their talents. Everything was good, prepared as asked and I heard nothing but compliments. Prices were very reasonable. All in all it was an enjoyable dining experience.

Bring your appetite! We made the mistake of ordering a large MeataTerian we had leftover for days ! If you a connoisseur of bread the Forget me Knots are AHHHSOME garlic or the cinnamon and sugar! The Cinnamon knots if your lucky enough to have left overs for Morning compliments your coffee! Great for a cheat day! When you get a pizza from Big Bobs you know you have a meal you can feel the difference as you carry it out accompanied by the delectable aroma!Enjoy

We enjoyed having dinner here. The menu offers a variety of pasta dishes and really enjoyed our meal. The service was very friendly and quick to serve at all levels, from seating, refilling drinks and serving food. We enjoyed the pesto tortellini and fettuccine. Side salads and bread are a great start to the meal. Enjoyed wine with our meal and appreciated the selection. Ambience is homey but it was quite warm inside making it uncomfortable to enjoy the meal after awhile.

Some very dear friends of mine have recently moved to Oceanside. We went to Dominic's for lunch and we're not disappointed. The food is very tasty and the portions very generous. Michael our server was very prompt and courteous. We were lucky that this is still offseason so we were seated and served quickly. We will definitely be back!

Stopped in for dinner while visiting the area. So funny, we hit same place 5 years ago on previous visit. Food was just as great as last time. My wife got the gluten free option. Very tasty. Great ingredients. Worth the stop for sure. Parking can be a bit tricky, it is right next to beach access.
