We booked for 8.00 on a Saturday night. On arriving we found the place packed and the noise level very high. We were eventually seated but three other tables around us had not been served and one table was complaining about the long delay in their order being taken. When a waiter eventually came over he shouted ( across the noise ) that they were " backed up " and the food order would be delayed but would we like a drink whilst we waited. We left as the next table said " We dont blame you , we are leaving too ! ".The accoustics are a major problem . We wont return. As this reviewer didnât drink or eat in our restaurant, We do not feel they can fairly review our restaurant or give other trip advisor users an accurate review. This reviewer left the restaurant within 1 minute of arrival, and this was their own choice. They did NOT eat or drink in our restaurant, and the moment they sat down they made it clear they didnât like that it was too noisy for them, our waiter explained that it was Saturday night, the restaurant was fully booked. There wasnât a large party on that night, all tables, were of 2, 3, 4 maximum 6 guests. They arrived at the same time as a few other tables, and their drink order was ready to be taken, but they had decided to leave. Our restaurant is not a fast food restaurant, we are serving freshly home cooked food to order, and to provide the best quality, sometimes on very busy nights the orders may be slightly delayed. This delay is as minimal as possible, as customers can see for themselves our chefs and kitchen staff work to the highest and most efficient standards. Noise levels are of course higher at busier times, but that cannot be helped and it is a sign of customers enjoying their time with us.Nobody else had left restaurant on this particular night, and the last 5* reviews is an example that the guests who didnât leave our restaurant on Saturday had a lovely time.We hope this clears up any misunderstandings about our restaurant. The Paoloâs Restaurant Team

Italia Nostra is a delightful Italian restaurant specialising in northern Italian cuisine. We are located in central Norwich housed in a charming Georgian building and are only moments away from the theatre.
It's always a real pleasure to dine at Italia Nostra. It is our favourite restaurant in Norwich and we always try to eat here at least once when we visit the city. Mario and his wife are lovely people and you will eat really well! Highly recommended.

I visited with my mum and sister on Friday 13th September as a birthday celebration. Our table was booked for 7pm and it was already very busy - a great sign - and subsequently stayed busy throughout our visit before we left around 9:30pm.The service was great - it was nice and relaxed, not rushed in any way but also you didn't have to wait too long between courses. We ordered garlic bread as a starter to share, which was perhaps slightly too garlicky but cooked very well. For mains we ordered the cheese gnocchi, spaghetti with meatballs, a main portion of the minestrone soup and a side of zucchini fries. All the food was cooked well and was very tasty. The zucchini fries were the best I've ever eaten! For dessert we had the nutella pancake and the filled canoli, which I was told were lovely. We really enjoyed our visit overall. It was slightly more pricey than anticipated and we were disappointed to see that a 10% service charge had automatically been added, despite only being a table of 3. Our bill came to £80, which covered 2 soft drinks, 1 starter, 3 mains, 1 side and 2 desserts. However the food was very tasty and the restaurant had a lovely ambience. I would definitely recommend a visit!

Went for lunch here last week after reading great reviews about the food. Unfortunately we didnt have a good experience there and will not return. We ordered cheesy garlic bread which, when it came, had no garlic in it at all. My arrabiata sauce seemed to have no chilli or garlic in it and so tasted like any tomato sauce. My partners bolognaise had little flavour apart from the pancetta in it. There was very little beef, no garlic or lovely sauce. The wine was corcked and returned. It was replaced. Very disappointing but we can cook better at home. Certainly lacked any Italian flavours.Dear 473foodieI canât believe I only just noticed your review, Iâve been looking forward to make some sort of contact with you ever since you left our restaurant to thank you for the laughters, my staff and I as well as the other guests that heard your comments couldnât stop laughing after you left. To make the story more clear to other readers, the disastrous experience described above is written by the same customer that couldnât understand that what was in his plate was pancetta rather than bacon, that he ordered tagliatelle al Ragù, not spag Bol (God knows what that is anyway!), the expectation of garlic in the beef ragù was only based on a fantasy of his as we do not advertise garlic in our ragù, but dulcis in fundo this customer decides to embarrass himself even more by complaining about a wine (Montepulciano d'Abruzzo) being corked despite the fact that I unscrewed the aluminium cap right at his table :) :) It is not a secret that working in this industry is a very stressful affair and thatâs why we desperately need more customers like 473foodie that gift us joyful moments that make our days go by.And the name foodie? :):) 473foodie please come back soon!

This place is lovely for dinner, huge menu of pizzas. Pizzas are large and fresh and reasonably priced. Nice drinks to choose from. Also the takeaway option on deliveroo is good quality the same as the restaurant. Service is quick and friendly, although there arenât many tables in the restaurant if it gets busy however we have never had to wait. Overall really nice place for dinner.

Saporita is the union of taste, semplicity and traditional of the real italian street food.
This little place gets it just right, it keeps it simple and does what it does so well. They were so willing to adapt to my dietary requirements and produce something that was perfect in every way. I had a piadina made from dough that was absolutely stunning, it just melted in the mouth I really do not know how they do it. It was topped with toppings of my choice and seasoned to absolute perfection. This is one of those places which is a real delight to come across. The prices were very reasonable, the service delightful.
