We came at around 9:00 on a summer Saturday night. We split a Cesare salad and chicken salvia. I had a glass of Pinot noir. Everything was very fresh and delicious. Our server could have been a bit more personable. He looked at me funny when I asked for tomato sauce rather than olive/oil. Other than that, it was very good and I would dine again.

Wood-Fired Pizzeria serving Artisan pizza, salads, small plate appetizers and small plate entrees. Full Bar, Take Out and Private Parties available.
We have been here on several occasions and have always been very satisfied. Unfortunately that is not the case tonight. From the time we arrived we knew it was not going to be a good night. It took several minutes for our waitress to arrive and when she did she seemed annoyed that we were there. She took our drink orders and we waited nearly 10 minutes for our drinks from the bar. The margarita was horrible! The pizza lacked flavor and sauce but the crust is pretty decent. So disappointing! We will not be returning to this restaurant.
We have been wanting to try MOD Pizza at home and were excited to see it so close to our hotel. We ordered online and my husband picked it up. The quality was better than I expected for the price and the pizza was delicious. I would definitely eat this again. Our 10 year old loved the pizza as well.

Ate lunch here. The restaurant is old and not that fancy. Servers were friendly and polite. The lunch buffet is $9.99 and includes a drink. IT was a pretty good buffet with a large variety of items. It included salad, pasta, pizza, chicken wings, sausage, fruit and etc. Not bad for a quick lunch. I would eat here again.

Went with a group 9 (half kids/adults) for lunch and had the Idaho nachos w/taco meat (good but not great) and garlic bread (good) for appetizers. Kids portions were huge and they have toys (etch-a-sketch, 8-ball, etc) to entertain them. The adults had pizza (Frisco, Supreme, and Meat Loversâall pan style) and everyone enjoyed the flavors. Service was slow and very unenthusiasticâacross the entire staff (hostesses, servers, bartenders, etc). We are easy-going people that love good food and drinks so tried hard to engage the staff; however, the staff at Silo seemed bored and made us feel as if we were an inconvenience.

Excellent Traditional Family Restaurant. Waukegan's oldest institution. They have hot buttered bread they generously place upon your table. The pizza and Broasted chicken are awesome. Every entree and salad is perfectly plated for your visual and enjoyment.

Haven't been there in 20 years. I moved from the area was back for a wake. Couldn't resist Quonset for dinner Saturday night. I rate pizza and service the best. We'll make it a point to get back soon.

My spouse and I were in the Waukegan area and stopped by here for an early lunch. It was lovely and Tina warmly greeted us and made sure we were enjoying everything. I had the tuna sandwich and my husband had eggplant. We both had the spinach and asparagus soup. So fresh. We took some desserts home with us. The cappuccinos were lovely. Don't miss the chance to pop in here and enjoy some really delicious, homemade food.
