Another great meal just 5km outside of Parma town. Also very close to A15 highway. Great location and would be amazing in summer as they have an outdoor area.We ate local Parma food of mixed jams with Torta fritta, Tortelli followed by a second course of Goose. All dishes were delicious and good price.

Fantastic, local dishes. Comfortable family restaurant which is clearly a bt of an institution in the neighbourhood. I loved the gnocchi and the steak was delicious. Would love to go back to try some more dishes.

Not obvious to go to but worth checking out. Enough parking space . Contempary but local interiour. Friendly reception. The menu is not large but what is on it is very good. Made with local products with an own approach. Take a first glass at the bar and enjoy local cheese, torta fritta and salami's. If needed they help you chose and they are not pushing you towards consumption. We hesitated between two 'primi' and they offered to let us taste three versions on one plate . Mmmmmmm. Good fresh food at more than reasonable prices. Try it out ,dear tourists !

This place can be hard to find, located in a half empty neighborhood shopping piazza on the second level. But once inside it is warm and inviting, with large open beam ceiling and large central dining room. Pizzas were great, salads too. Service was fine, but a little slow. They were quite busy on a Thursday night around 8:00.

My husband and I were driving, in heavy fog, between Pisa and Bergamo when we pulled off the autoroute at Parma hoping to find a decent restaurant that would be open rather late on a Monday night. We took a wrong turn in the fog and found ourselves in what seemed to be an industrialised area and soon gave up hope of finding anything decent and decided to make do with whatever we could find. Via Emilia is a busy road and luckily for us, Amoretti is well-lit and we had time to pull over in the fog. At first we thought it was closed - there appeared to be nobody around. We weren't easily deterred and climbed the steps to peer in through the window at what looked like a delicatessen with a sort of cafe layout - all the tables were set but not a soul in site. I tried the door and was totally surprised that it opened - and even more surprised when the chef came out from the kitchen, greeted us warmly and reassured us that we could indeed have dinner. The place is spotlessly clean and the delicatessen is stocked with everything from caviar to Champagne ... the range of wines available is outstanding. The food was excellent - platters of Bellota ham (I know we were close to Parma but five years in Spain made us nostalgic and it was the special of the evening!) followed by beautifully cooked fillet steak (blue for my husband, medium rare for me - both perfect), accompanied by oven roasted potatoes and a good glass of house wine. Chef served us himself with such warmth we felt as though we wanted to stay all night. It wasn't at all odd sitting there alone because the welcome was so gracious and the food so delicious we felt as though we were being treated to a private party. Next time we are anywhere near Parma we will be taking a deliberate detour back to Via Emilia. Highly recommended.

Wonderful selection of meats and cheese. But what really makes it is the friendly staff . Love this place !

The most perfect lunch spot in Parma! I came here with 12 contractors and stoped for lunch. Their charcuteri is among the best I ever tasted after spending 10 years and more than 25 business trips in the area. The Culaccia is excellent! Try with the Terre Verdiande Lambrusco N.V.

Wonderful! We are traveling through Italy on vacation and chose this restaurant based on its ratings on TripAdvisor as we often do, but I have to say it really exceeded expectations. The restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere in a pretty part of town, close to the attractions of the center. We were warmly welcomed and got great advice on the menu and choice of wine. The dishes are made with traditional local ingredients, enhanced by the creativity of the chef, and beautifully presented. Highly recommended!

In the heart of Parma, but easier to reach than many other celebrated restaurant, gives the perfect idea of the local food, of the local hospitality, of the local joy for meeting around a table. Simple choices in the menu, excellent ingredients, good wine, reasonable prices.Available a small place out on on the courtyard too. Inside everything is simple but tasteful. Young team running the biz.
