great hand made pizza. C.J. is tops. He makes a mean pizza. This place has great college town atmosphere. We had a great time. The pizza is fantastic. Forget Pizza Hut, John's, other chains. This place is great. The music is classic 80's.

LaBella Pizza Bistro has been serving the Hudson Valley since 1991. In that time we have grown and evolved to be more than just great pizza. We offer a wealth of other dining options; including catering for any occasion. Our dishes feature LOCALLY GROWN o
We just came into New Paltz & was craving New York pizza. This place was close to where we were so we walked there. The people working there were very friendly. When we were eating 2 servers came by several times to see if we needed anything. They certainly tried very hard to take good care of us.We were disappointed with the pizza. It was ok, but not what we were expecting. Just not the great New York pizza we expected.

This place is very convenient, right in town on the main street. We ate only pizza and salads but they have all the usual stuff, sandwiches and fried stuff. The pizza was great, can't say about sandwiches but they were fairly busy so that speaks well. Prices about what you'd expect. I would go back.

We were excited to go back to eat at Joseph's Steakhouse as our experience before the fire was great. This time we weren't impressed. It started with out with the owner pushing us to eat outside. We did go out to look at the outdoor space but didn't think it was all that. Even though he did have heaters, we didn't want to eat outside - it was at night in October when it was 50 degrees. So we went inside where we were given a table near the entrance. There were 2 parties going on and it was loud. The remodel looks nicw, but when the party behind you moves you can feel it in the booth seats. For an appetizer we had the sesame teriyaki wings- very good. Not too sweet and well cooked. Our dinners however were not great. I had the scampi - although the flavor was ok, the pasta was very undercooked. It was a little crunchy and had to be chewed. My husband had the 8oz filet. Although it was a perfect medium rare (as he requested) it was bland. The sides were incorrect, and the garlic mashed didn't taste right until he added butter. One would think that an upscale restaurant like this would elevate the food. We've had a better tasting food at Texas Roadhouse! The menu and the food was better before the fire. It won't be high on on our list of restaurants to visit again. As you can see by our other reviews we are mostly 5 star, that is what we are normally about. The night you were their was probably the busy Saturday night since we open. I try to steer you to the heated patio because we had three large tables of ten in the dinning room that night. I actually had to turn people way because we were full in dining room and patio that night. As for your steak being bland, we usually use are special seasoning to enhance the flavor. The kitchen did amazing job that night but if you steak was a little bland I am sorry. But as for the quality there is not a chain or Steakhouse in the Hudson Valley that uses the quality of steaks that we purchase. As for the pasta being a little crunchy we do cook it fresh and it is cooked Al Dente (a little crunchy). I do take comments seriously and I will have the servers inform that the pasta is cooked Al Dente in the future and that it can be cook more. Being overly busy on a Saturday night is because we are a good restaurant but I still want every customers happy. Hope you give us another try and I will try my best to make your next visit a special dining experience. Joseph

My wife and I visited New Paltz to see a PianoSummer concert at the local SUNY campus (a must-see for a classical music lover) and we stopped at La Stazione for dinner. The food was great. I enjoyed the freshly cut and well prepared mushroom risotto and my wifeâs Tuna Steak was delicious. The ambience is great tooâboth inside and outside. We will definitely return to La Stazione soon.

We had a delicious dinner at End Cut: an appetiser, a salad, two "entrées" and a bottle of nice wine ($25) between two people: total bill $120 (plus tip).Service was good, ingredients first-class, and preparation skilled - all very tasty (mushroom cakes, duck and fish). We were very happy, and because servings are generous, we didn't try a dessert. I understand the restaurant plans to relocate out of New Paltz, so get in while you can for some good cooking. This place deserves more than the seven customers who were there on the Thursday we visited.

The pizza from Rino's is like pizza from a typical neighborhood pizza place. Nothing to go out of your way for, but good enough that you'll like it if your hungry. No Coke, only Pepsi.

Pasqualeâs always provides us with an excellent meal. The establishment has two locations, one in New Paltz and one in Gardiner. Both locations thrive and have many repeat local customers. Both restaurants are casual and comfortable. Some of our favorite dishes are eggplant parm, fried calzones, buffalo chicken pizza, buffalo chicken wraps, baked ravioli, caprese salad and margarita pizza. I have never had a bad meal at either location and will be there again very soon.
