War schon zum zweiten Mal hier und der Dönerteller ist einfach klasse. Lecker und günstig. Das Lokal verfügt über viele Sitzplätze und ist sehr sauber.

We come here every time we visit relatives near Neumarkt, about 5 times now. Every time, the food (we order pizza) is fantastic, particularly the crust. Absolutely gigantic pizzas for the price (at least relative to the US). The owner of the restaurant for us at least has been consistently present on the floor, which we also find to be a good sign. The ambiance, while on the noisy side, is also good--we like the decor, the high ceilings, and the industrial details referencing the restaurant's past as a paper mill. The service has generally been good, but in our most recent visit, it seems they are starting to be understaffed. Our drinks did not arrive before the food, and we had to request it. We could see that the beverages were sitting at the bar, and the bartender was both mixing and serving the drinks, so we could see why he'd be a little overwhelmed. Otherwise, no real complaints and we'll keep coming back any chance we get.

Wer sämtliche Neumarkter Unternehmer in einem Lokal sehen will, muss zu Elio gehen. Gut, das ist zwar etwas übertrieben, aber das Lokal ist stets gut besucht. Warum lässt sich aber nur schwer sagen. Das Essen ist gut - mehr aber auch nicht. Die Preise sind in Ordnung - mehr aber auch nicht. Die Pizzen sind winzig, aber dafür gut belegt und auch nicht allzu teuer. Das Ambiente ist -sagen wir mal- zweckmäÃig. Was das Ganze dennoch zu etwas besonderem macht, sind die Leute, die das Lokal betreiben. Man kannte und kennt sich. Es geht locker zu und als Abschluss gibt es einen Ramazotti "aufs Haus". Funktioniert!

A small trattoria run by an elderly couple. Very warm welcome - we now use this homely place whenever we are travelling via Neumarkt. - and they remember my wife's dietry requirements each time we arrive. Magnificent pizza, freshly prepared and cooked probably one of the best we have experienced anywhere in Europe. Service may be a little slower when they are busy but the atmosphere, friendliness, cleanliness and darn good food more than compensates.

Good Italian restaurant located outside the old city (however not far by foot). Good wine list. A variable daily list of dishes forms a good extension of the standard menu. Pleasant atmosphere and very friendly staff. It was no problem to share our pizzas so we requested to get ours separately: first one and later the other, thus preventing that the second half was already cold when we finished the first half.

Easy access from the autobahn (A3). Accepts U.S. MasterCard with microchip. Tasty Paulaner Helles beer on tap (Vom fass). Superb service and delicious food, especially the picture perfect tiramisu. If you sit in the back corner of the restaurant, there's a table for 2 by the window with a good view of the castle up on the hillside. Pleasant experience and will definitely return for dinner next time! Lunch today was wonderful.
