We were not familiar with the area but this place had been recommended at our nearby hotel. It's nothing fancy but I have to say the food was outstanding. I had a very delicious meatball sub ($3.99 for a 6 inch sub). Everything about it was outstanding--delicious roll, sauce, cheese and meatballs. The French fries were excellent as well. The prices here are super reasonable. I think this is a favorite among the locals as the phone rang a lot while we were enjoying our meal.

Stopped after a wedding for a quick snack. The service and pizza were good. One of the few places in town open past 10:00

We spent the day on the highway and needed a good hot meal. The portion sizes were just right. The quality of the food and the service is just what we expect. It was nice to be greeted with a smile. Three specials were on the menu and we had two of them. Well Done!! Keep up the good work.

On entering was told to sit were I wanted, picking a booth. This is a small restaurant/pizza parlor. Seating is six tables with four or six chairs & five booths. Jessica-waitress- allowed plenty of time to select the Gyro Patter which is lamb layered beef slices, lettuce, tomato, peppers & onions covered with some type of sauce. The pita bread wrap was a bit tough, yet edible. French fries & a garden salad completed the meal. Drink was n iced sweet tea.The facility has takeout-pizza, hot & cold subs, hogies, wings & full senior & kid's menu. If staying at New Market's Quality Inn, only a five minute walk at most. If at night carry a flashlight as the Q.I.'s driveway has a few ruts. The Gyro Patter was filling & tasty.Hours: Sunday-Thursday 11:00-10:00. Friday-Saturday 11:00-11:00. A stop is recommended. Parking is 4-5 spaces at most in front.

Visited Sal's for dinner after attending a local play. Sal's was suggested by my sister from a previous visit. Excellent dinner entrées had by all. Owner came by our table during our visit. Only issue with our visit was the wait for a table plus time to get our dinners. But in their defense, they were very busy for a Sunday evening. Overall good experience in a very small Valley town.
Best Pizza I have had in a long time. The menu was huge with so many selections to choose from. The service was just outstanding as different waiters and waitresses kept stopping by our table to see if everything was okay and if we needed anything. The restaurant is bright and cheerful and a charming atmosphere for a great meal. Will stop here again when in the area.
