You can always find wonderful food in Italy, particularly in Tuscany, Drago Bria'o is an amazing little restaurant which simply takes food to a higher level! The name of the restaurant translates to the drunken dragon and that is easy to tell why. Here we are in the region of the Super Tuscan wines, which you can of course enjoy with your dinner here, but Tiziano, the owner also offers an amazing choice of local artisan Tuscan beers, and for lunchtime on a hot day this was just perfect - we had already been trying a little of the Super Tuscan though.Food is of course highly authentic, cold meats through to a soup in a bun (bread) to a main course to desert. The restaurant is tucked away in Castagneto Carducci, hidden among the backstreets, but like so many wonderful things in life, the best things are often little secrets. If you come and eat here, you will want to return for more. The food is wonderful, the service is excellent, the welcome is like you're seeing you family after a break of a year. You are most warmly embraced here. It is well worthwhile taking a walk along the back streets to discover this wonderful little gem.

Right on the main street in Sassetta village, the owners of this wine bar/cafe are very friendly and welcome guests with open arms. Food is excellent, highly recommended

If you in love with good food and fantastic location, that is the place. The restaurant is in a villa in the countryside with amazing view. The cousin is an authentic Tuscany cuisine. I loved the brasato, absolutely tasty, and the pork with apples!!

Outstanding view - beautiful setting. Seems to be the choice watering hole for the local chaps - so lots of smoke on the patio. The pizza is pretty good. The beer is nice (frosted mugs - which is nice on a hot day). The pasta is pretty awful. And the service is ok at best. The gelato is nice.
Had a very nice lunch here.We mainly communicated with the lovely helpful owner her by way of a translation App on our phone which was huge fun.

Tipical tuscan menus with seafood and traditional recipes. We offer a very panoramic position and a seasonal swimming pool for our guests, who wants to stay a bit more can find an accomodation in apartments and rooms, too. Waiting for you at the Castelluc
finally something that made our day! We were just sneaking around between the seaside of Castagneto Carducci and the surrounding hills, and suddenly we found this place: restaurant, swimming pool (huge!), Bar, and relax! Food is at its best, simple and fresh cousine.. we recommend to pay a visit here! Especially for families!!!

Do not go here if you like American style thick pizza. They serve lovely thin and very crispy Italian pizza to eat in or takeaway. They are clearly busy and we had to wait 40 minutes for our takeaway but it was well worth it; and it is rather pleasant sitting on the wall outside watching the evening turn into night. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is that one of the pizzas was wrong (although still very tasty).

Our party of seven saw the New Year (2017) in at this delightful restaurant. Table booked at 8pm and we soon embarked on a seven course feast of antipasta, two pasta dishes, tuscan pork sausage, steak and a sweet course served just before midnight with some fizz. The atmosphere was brilliantly Tuscan, and the quality of the food was of the highest order. And as much wine as we wanted. There can't be a better way of seeing in the New Year. I now want to return on a "normal" day!

Went here having read all the positive reviews on Trip Advisor; they were not wrong. The setting is lovely and feels almost like you are being welcomed into someone's back garden. The food was amazing but there did appear to be a tourist menu, and one for locals as we were not offered the pasta starter, however I have no complaints. We found the staff friendly and fast and it was great to be shown the (huge) steak before it was cooked on the open fire. Without Trip Advisor we would never have found this as from the outside it doesn't look like a restaurant.

Only handmade typical Tuscan cuisine, including dishes "Maremma Toscana", pasta with wild boar, hare, ragu "Chianina" typical Tuscan salami, local wine pouring, moderately priced. WI-FI Zone
We were a group of adults, kids and doggies and were accommodated with a smile. Lorenzo is a fantastic host and had tricks up his sleeve to make everyone happy from his delicious combination of burrato, poppone and tropea onions to special treats for crying kids. A tiny gem in one of the most picturesque piazze on the Tuscan Coast. Super Tuscan Experience!!! GRAZIE MILLE LORENZO!!!
