This cute little restaurant in the very pleasant Montefiore del Aso serves dinner both à la carte or as a 4 course menu where a selection from the main menu. This is a great deal for 25⬠incl. drinks!! The food and wine was very good as was the service and we had a perfect start into our vacation! Definitely coming back!

The other chosen restaurant was closed (they only open for dinner) so we didn't knew where to go, luckily a guy sitting in the piazza told us we could have lunch here... great choice... a simple plain restaurant, cold I would add, with no particular decor but has some nice hill views if sitting outdoors (but was so hot outside) so better stay indoors, away the heating temperatures...We decided to have the worker's menu (12.00); stuffed olives and dumplings (5.00); a steak (10.00); small salad bowl (2.00); digestif shots. Food were well done, really good and delicious; they have some cuts of beef in the fridge which can be seen (and chose) close to the fireplace. We had the loveliest and friendliest waitress, service the best we had in this trip!

Nel centro storico della cittadina marchigiana
If youâre looking for a rustic Italian meal, this is the one for you! Predominately meat based, but you will not go hungry!!Everything is freshly cooked and delicious. Fantastic value for money! The meal was finished off with Sergios homemade grappa! Salute!! Thank you !!!

We went to Re Squarchio upon our friends desire and suggestion but really cannot give a higher score compared to the latest places reviewed in terms of location, menu, value and especially service. The location is a former residential unit with the entrance on the ground floor, (with a loft also where the toilet is placed). The menu had not a single tempting innovative dish to offer, therefore we opted for the set menu which was certainly abundant but not great. E.g. the stuffed fried olives were oily; the pumpkin ravioli were offered without mentioning the sweet macarons within the filling; the beef tagliata with green peppercorns was served without any side or garnish, therefore we asked to get a salad to complete the course. The bread basket had only sliced white flour bread. And we had to call the waitress to have a clean knife after one fell on the floor and call her again and ask for fresh wine glasses to pour a different red wine after the first bottle. The vincotto served with the cantucci at the end tasted ordinary and left a sediment in my glass. We have left the venue after 3 and half hours, nor were we in a hurry but certainly this was unexpected. One reason to return is the value of the premium regional red wines.

Storica Trattoria di campagna nota in tutto il mondo per le sue pappardelle al sugo di papera...e molti altri piatti della cucina regionale
A regular favourite, especially at lunchtime. Very good local food at a very reasonable price.Sitting outside under the vines is special.

The restaurant is justifiably booked out on a Saturday. The food is local, with the usual high quality of this area. I really enjoyed a rare (in both senses) steak, with excellent local red wine and very good company.

A local recommendation to eat at this tucked away bar was more than justified. The staff were very helpful and the food and service could not be faulted. The only downside was the enormous television going at full volume on our arrival but when we asked for it to be turned down they did so immediately. One of the best selections of antipasta and certainly one of the tastiest pizzas I've had in a long time. Unfortunately the evening had cooled too much to be able to sit outside but the view over the valley was perfect.

Based on their well-known quality butcher's shop Pietro and Francesco have a simple restaurant that is open in the summer. There is a set menu of 6 courses and mainly their own high quality meat (from prosciutto to mixed grill). At â¬15 per head for 6 courses, wine, water and coffee the value is stunning.

Wow, such a nice place ! We were here 2 years ago and now came back. Great location right on the beach, very fresh seafood. Many nice dishes which you can share. Let the owner decide for you, he will bring you a nice variety. Mainly fish but very good. Nice atmosphere, owner is a great guy who takes very good care of you. Just go there !
