Montebello (Spanish for beautiful mountain) is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States, located in the southwestern area of the San Gabriel Valley on 8.4 sq mi (22 km) 8 mi (13 km) east of downtown Los Angeles. It is considered part of the Gateway Cities, and is a member of the Gateway Cities Council of Governments. In the early 20th century, Montebello was a well-known source for oil reserves. Love the family atmosphere. Everything was completely acceptable. Service was appropriately attentive. Professional. Wine - good, bread - good, salad - good, Veal Marsala - good enough but could have been a bit more. More veal, just a bit more Marsala in sauce but no complaints. Quick service, clean and friendly. Would I go back? Yes.

I grew up on this place. I've known the family through this deli. This is a mom and pop deli and the food here is just what you would expect. Good, flavorful and a home made taste that will put a smile on your face.I put a picture of a roast beef sandwich. It tasted exactly the same as i ordered it 20 years ago. Delicious!

Mr. M provided a fresh buffet for our family on the patio! We had fruit, salad with cucumbers, black olives and tomatoes, pasta salad and potato salad. Our entreeâs included pizza, wings, chicken Alfredo and lasagna. Everything was wonderful and the service was pleasant and prompt!

Pizza here is great but the service is horrible. They have young kids working there that have no respect. When ordering for pick up add an additional 15-20 min to the time they give you.

We go there often when we have school affairs in the evening highly recommend the Garlic Potato, Salad, Anti Pasto salad and Hot Italian Sausage âMamboâ Style. Another favorite are âSkewers âwith the mushrooms. One could go there forever and still not try everything

The food is not the best but it is very decent and one you know is matched by good service which is a credit to their leadership team as their service makes their product better and the eating out experience enjoyable The restaurant was jam packed and we heard at least 4 birthday songs by their staff which gives them another green tick
