Went here on the advice of our hotel and we were not disappointed. You are told straight away at he restaurant only seves fish. Had a couple of glasses of excellent prosecco before a lovely crab starter. We had the selection of grilled and fried fish between us and all was very fresh and cooked very well. Didn't have dessert as quite full with the first 2 courses and the lovely bread on the table. Returned 2 weeks later and had a similarly good meal so not a one off!

My wife and I drove here from nearby Padova to celebrate her birthday. It was our first time, and we were not disappointed. The Slovenian Malvasia we drank paired excellently with the very fresh seafood, and the staff was super attentive. The sociable owner Hedi (Eddy) greeted us tableside and asked if we'd like to start with appetizers, which we heartily agreed to. Thus began a nice sequence of small plates that included soft polenta with moscardini (little octopus), followed by an array of traditional boiled, local shellfish, and sfogio in saor (sweet 'n sour flounder). Next came three small servings of pasta: ghochetti with porcini and ventresca, risotto alla pescatora, and spaghetti with bottarga di muggine and vongole (clams). By that point we were full, so we skipped main courses and dessert, which we would have liked to have tried. Next time we come we now know that we should assert our preferences ahead of time so that we might have had fewer starter and first course plates to leave room for a local main dish and dessert.

Great service and very welcoming. This is a meat restaurant through and through, not one for a vegetarian ! Loads of different cuts of meat available, you choose from the chiller cabinet on display and it is cooked to perfection with different peppers sauces etc to go with it. Even the chips were brilliant. Would definitely recommend to others. Thanks

On a very cold evening of january we decided to go to this very well decorated restaurant and warm welvome with a great smile.The dishes are creative with fresh ingredients of season and all around earth and sea products.A great dinner from starter to dessert. It was off season and we wanted to get away from the crowds of Venice and have a fine dining experience. We dined at Villa Fini on a Friday night and we were the only people in the restaurant at 7 p.m. Basically this meant we had a chef and 2 waiters to ourselves. We had the tasting menu which was about 5 courses on the menu but with the Amuse Bouches from the chef, it worked out to about 8 courses. We had a recommend bottle of Veneto Chianti that was about 29 E, which turned out to be a very fine red wine. Our waiter really knew the food on the menu and their very extensive wine list. The service was fantasticThe menu is only in Italian, but the waiter was able to guide us through it in English.I used the Google App "Lens" to translate the menu from Italian to EnglishI would absolutely eat here again

We arrived in Mira (stayed in an apartment around the corner from Al Giardinetto) early evening, and decided to walk here for a light dinner.They were very busy with a bustling, friendly atmosphere.We ordered a beer, along with just a salad and a pizza to share. The salad - with boiled egg, tuna, olives, and more - was excellent. Pizza - mushroom and onion - was booked in the brick oven in the corner of the restaurant and was also very good.The staff was friendly and helpful, although their English was not perfect and we do not parle Italiano. :)At the end of dinner, we had a good discussion about the various Amaro's with the bartender, and ended up finding one which became one of our favorites - Vecchio Amaro del Capo. A little on the sweeter side, but not too sweet.Overall a very pleasant, simple dinner in a great atmosphere.

Dai Kankari is a really good osteria in Mira, a few miles from Venice. It is a âno frill placeâ with paper table cloth and napkins. But the great thing is the food! We had incredible cappellacci ai funghi e verdure, porchetta and tagliata. The meat was tasty and soft. And the price is a steal for the quality you are getting. We will be back!
