Fantastic food! The shrimp Athenian was exquisite!! The salad bar was very beautiful and full of options! The staff were very friendly and efficient! The atmosphere was very relaxed and lovely, with an amazing live musician that made the experience much better! Oh and the chocolate cherry Tini was perfect!Thank you so much for your kind words. We are happy that you enjoyed your meal and had a great time listening to the music. We have live music every Friday and Saturday, so you can come for some tunes and a couple of chocolate cherry tinis! #TeamZorbas...!!!

The owner was clearly the person taking reservations older gentleman, very abrasive and abrupt on the phone. Never the less we decided we'd give it a try. The food came out portions very minimal but the best is yet to come. This has to be the worst frozen food meal from a bag that I've ever had prepared. Simply breaded chicken fillets warmed up, placed sauce on them and some cheese and here you have it Chicken Parmesan. Are you kidding and that only cost $19.00 oh it also came with a meager amount of pasta. Look elsewhere please this place is clearly one to pass on! My wife had another chicken platter and hers wasn't much better Hell it looked like road Kill at least mine had sauce and cheese to hide what it really looked like. Nightmare truly total bill came out to $81.00 what a waste I would have done better at Joey Garlic's. Never again. Beware and research before entering this establishment.

This is the BEST coal fired brick oven pizza we've even had. We began going to Little Rendezvous when Verdolinis closed. They have been our usual pizza, that's probably for 30 years now. When we go to friend's houses for a pizza night they ,of course have their own favorite spots. However no one has complained about our choice of pizza when they come to visit us. Give them a try, they might become your go to pizza joint. Maybe we'll see you there...

Some sandwiches are great and others are very average. Salads are good and good sized. I just wish the sandwiches were a little more consistent

I was here while attending a training class and stopped in solo for dinner. The decor is very nice and the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely excellent. I had the Chicken Parmigiana, which was very tasty and filling. The accompanying salad and bread were great. They also had Sam Adams summer ale on tap, which was a nice surprise. I will definitely return when Iâm in the area again.

We had birthday party in Avanti for 15 persons. The menu of the restaurant can satisfy anybody taste, for example it has 4 types of veal ( including veal parmigiana, veal francese and veal marsala), traditional Italian pastas, Lasagna, Baked Manicotti; different kind of seafood and meat (including New Zealand Rack of lamb). The service was excellent. Considering a very moderate prices and a big portions this restaurant may be recommended for different occasions.

From their humble beginnings on South Main Street in Waterbury to now multiple locations throughout the state of Connecticut, Nardelliâs Grinder Shoppe continues to satisfy the need for fast and delicious meals. You can count on quality ingredients, huge
I had heard of grinders thrugh a friend and was pleased to experience one at Narelli's, just nxt door to the hotel at which I was staying. The grinder (white bread roll) was good - not too heavy, and a nice amount of filling. Thereis also a wide range of salads, creamy varieties and the more (to me) succulent lettice and tomato based salads. Mine could have been a little warmer, but that was easily sorted in the microwave at Comfort Inn next door.Hi Robin, Thanks for leaving us a great review and sharing your experience with us! We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed your first grinder with us. It sounds like you have a friend with great taste! Next time we promise that your grinder will be at your perfect temperature. We hope you'll come back and visit us again soon next time you're in the area. Grazie,Nardelli's Grinder Shoppe

Despite living in Meriden for fifteen years, we'd never stopped into Lido's until this past week. What a nice Italian family restaurant! After soccer and softball, my kids were starving and we wanted to avoid the fast food on East Main. The staff were friendly and attentive, and we all enjoyed the pizzas we ordered. I definitely plan to go back and try some of the other things on the menu, which included everything you would expect to see around here. It's one of those places that I'm sure has a big neighborhood clientele, and if it were on my side of town, I'd be in on a regular basis.
