Essen kalt.
While in Memmingen and after a day of walking, sightseeing and shopping we happened upon an out-of-the-way eatery where we spent a wonderful and relaxing evening! The atmosphere was wonderful and the taste of the food divine. If you like seafood try this restaurant when you are in town. The seafood is excellently done in a Mediterranean style. One of the highlights of our trip.Jim

I cannot say it was bad restaurant. It was THE WORST restaurant I've ever been. It's really better to go to subway or mc'donalds, at least food is warm. We had flight from Memmingen, so we decided to eat sth in town before flight. I took pasta and my boyfriend pizza. His pizza was from frozen pizzas from Aldi or Metro. Dough was dry and cold and the edge was flat, burn and burn. No smell of yeats. It was covered by (I hope) fresh cheese (sure not mozzarella) and salami. My Pasta wasn't fresh, but from normal dried pasta. It wasn't worse. Vegetables was also from frozen package and they were still cold inside. Moreover my italian pasta was accompained by CURRY!!!??? Is it some italian-indian fusion? In Firenze they would get heart attack. When we complain to waitress (after her question about our experience), she instead of apologize said us that we don't know italian pizza and it's best pizza in whole town (BTW, my boyfriend asked at pertrol station and they said La Bruschetta...) and started shouting at us and say that we should not come anymore. I think also that most of good comments are from friends of restaurants owners as when we have been there one lady said to waitress that she will write her now nice comment in internet as she made her same favour to her... Moreover I would also suggest to change a bit interior of restaurant. From first I would remove all fake flowers.

It was my first time that I've visited this restaurant but it will not be the last time for sure! The chef knows what he is doing and you'll miss something if you only try the pizza.Molte grazie per l'esperienza positiva!

Benevenuti at the Ristorante al Teatro We look forward to welcoming you to our Ristorante. With us you can really enjoy your pizza, pasta or insalata in a Mediterranean ambience. Our menu offers an extensive selection of Italian specialties, all prepared
We visited here during the day during a very unseasonal hot day. We ordered a couple of Aperol spritzers which I did not see on the menu but after asking duly arrived. I also ordered 1 pizza only and this was lovely and brought in 2 halves on 2 plates for us both to eat, the price of both was good and we had another couple of Aperols for good measure. Later that evening, I suggested to my partner that we go for dinner here as I had glanced inside earlier and thought it looked very old world and might be a good idea. We were not disappointed. I had the linguine and my wife had the carbonara, both cooked perfectly and very hot. A lovely glass of wine from the list which was also excellent. The price was too was normal and certainly better value than in Ireland and I would suggest this is a very good place to visit for anyone who likes Italian food in an authentic setting. They speak Italian of course too.

This was my second time at this restaurant and they did not fail to impress. Everything is freshly prepared which takes time, this isn't a fast food restaurant. I recommend this place to people who enjoy an atmospheric, authentic and pleasurable evening of fine wining and dining. There's a terrace but I found that sitting inside alongside the wonderful smells of the kitchen and the quaint decor most enjoyable. In my opinion the service was perfect because we had ordered starter, main and dessert and needed the wait in between courses to properly reflect on each course. I am sure that I will return in the future!

My wife and I chose this restaurant on the strength of a recommendation of a TripAdvisor contributor and we are glad that we did. The restaurant is not easy to find. It is situated on a retail park probably a mile from the centre of the town. We walked, as we didn't have a car, but a taxi would be a better option if you're not into walking. The restaurant is situated on the top floor , there is a lift, of a rather ugly building, but don't be put off. On entering the restaurant we were surprised to see how busy it was, always a good sign. Obviously they have few English speaking diners as our arrival produced a flurry of activity and we were introduced to the chef Mario "who speaks English".Mario is the guy who will prepare your pizza and cook it for you in the pizza oven in the centre of the restaurant. We were shown to a table and Mario left his oven to help us interpret the menu. We had an excellent meal which was topped of with complimentary glasses of schnaps. The service had been attentive and friendly and we will certainly go back to eat at Restorante Palazzo the next time we are in Memmingen.

I really donât understand the people who recommended this place and made me go there. They need to visit Italy. This was bad even for an Italian restaurant outside of Italy.Service was bad, the waiter didnât understand English, smoked in the table next to me between courses. food was terrible, wine was unbearable and the cherry on the cake was he doesnât accept credit card. Embarrassing place that shame Italy reputation
