Antica Osteria Al Convento , Cafe and Pizzeria is located in a charming medieval village in a old Carmelite convent.
Found this little place to eat today.Very nice staff and food was quite nice.My young son was feeling a little faint due to a medical condition we told the waiter he needed something to eat ASAP, the waiter had hot bread and a drink on the table for my son and the rest of our party in less than a couple of minutes. We left very happy leaving behind our trade mark of a little Koala along with a tip for our waiter for great service.Around a table there is only one family.we have become great friends with the koala.tnx so muchAl Convento Mdina Malta

The best meal we have had in our week in Malta/Gozo. I had the paccheti pasta dish and my fiancé had the pizza equivalent with Maltese sausage and both were fantastic. Really great service and lovely atmosphere. Enjoyed the house wine too. Thank you (sorry about the mess- he dropped the oil and I dropped the Parmesan!) xThank you for taking your time to post a review on TripAdvisorWe are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your experience in our restaurant! Grape vine covered courtyards, home grown herbs, multi coloured lights, and a myriad of wind chimes give a flirtatious wink of what's to come. You feel like a special guest in your best friend's home. If you have visited Coogi's before then you surely don
Shuffled across this gem whilst visiting Mdina. Lovely little courtyard cafe with food to match. We had three starters and plate of chips. Great lunch.

Casa Cosmana Navarra is a traditional Maltese. Is a 17th-century townhouse in the suburb of Mdina, building belonged to Cosmana Navarra (1600-1687), who was the main benefactress of the rebuilding of the Rabat parish church of St. Paul. The house is found
This restaurant is in a beautiful building, and was recommended to us by a woman selling her amazing pastries obliquely opposite. We were not disappointed. We were served by a young man from Philippines, who was extraordinarily attentive, service oriented and told me about the history of the building and the woman who owned it. I ordered the special and my boyfriend had a pizza with pistachio cream and salmon. Both were amazing. The food is excellent, the service is wonderful, and I highly recommend both the food here and the pastry shop across the street for extras to take away!!

Dine in truly romantic surroundings beneath the flowering Oleander tree in the vine-clustered courtyard during the summer, and by candle-light and an open log fireplace that keeps the restaurant warm during the winter months. The Medina presents a selecte
My pilgrimage to Malta would never be the same without my date at this place. An evening stroll through the gently lit streets of this beautiful mini-city followed by walking into this historical restaurant, glass roofed, intimate and charming. The menu is well stocked with local specialities of course including rabbit and extensive local wine list. I had a light dinner as it was my last night in the country. Only foody criticism I should offer is the fruit gels in the ice cream...hmmm(?) All was super although getting the right member of staff to serve you is important otherwise its a little agitating....I'll be back, as someone slightly more famous than I once said......Thank you for taking your time to post a review on TripAdvisorWe are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your last night in Malta in our restaurant!Your kind words have been warmly received and we hope to have the pleasure of seeing you again very soon! Many thanks and kind regards.

Easy to miss in the winter months as it's quite small and not open until 19:30. Really glad we found this small venue.Operating from a rotating blackboard menu, the food was great and "local". Service was attentive, the host was well trained and delivered a smooth service.Vegetarian friendly with a few interesting options to choose from.
