First time here and was impressed since place was jam packed.Quite modern and cool.We had 2 vintage burgers, they were excellent. Kids had chicken nuggets and spaghetti carbonara. Honestly had better carbonaras. On the day service was extremely slow but as I said place was jam packed...Would still love to return maybe when place is a bit quieter...

We called here for 3 coffees and a pot of tea and service was good and the drinks came quickly for the 9.20 Euro total cost. as it was market day and getting near 12 noon many places we tried said they would only give drinks with meals however this place did take us even though at 12 noon they did say to people arriving it was drinks with meals. The drinks were as you would have hoped and good value.

Staying locally in Marsaxlokk, Skins was one of the first places we visited. The staff were lovely, finding us a table indoors as the sun dropped behind the buildings, and recommending a dish when the one I had chosen had run out. The pizza was delicious, crispy and cooked to perfection. We befriended some locals, and whilst chatting away about how good the dessert was, we were given coffee on the house! Our second visit, I decided to try the red snapper. Cooked in the oven, you can choose to have it filleted, but I chose to keep it whole. Served with roast potatoes and roasted squash, both the fish and vegetables were superb. Including a bottle of wine, two pints and my husband's pizza, the bill was an amazing â¬36. Definitely our favourite place on the waterfront!

Set in a picturesque bay in the village of Birzebbugia, on the site of a battery built by a Knight of St. John, Ferretti Restaurant boasts the perfect surroundings for a memorable dining experience.A good location is just a part of our story, however. We
We visited here for our wedding anniversary and we really enjoyed it. It used to be a defensive battery from the 17th century and makes for very distinctive surroundings. It is beautifully and tastefully decorated with some lovely dining areas. The views from the balcony are stunning, particularly at night. The food and service was fantastic, and Tony, our very attentive waiter, was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for food and wine. What made our visit particularly memorable was the several cats that are allowed to freely meander around. According to Tony, they inherited them when they converted the old battery to the restaurant years ago, and they continue to look after them. As cat lovers ourselves, we loved this aspect. We plan to return to this truly lovely restaurant before our holiday finishes. Highly recommended.Good afternoon,We thank you for your kind review and generous comment. We are glad you shared a pleasant dining experience with us at Ferretti and that everything was to your expectations. On behalf of Ferretti and Tony, "Thank you". We look forward to hosting you again and wish your stay on our island is memorable! With appreciation and kind regards, Team FERRETTI

La Nostra Padrona Restaurant is perfect for anyone seeking a dining experience to remember, whether itâs a relaxing lunch or lavish dinner, our welcome is always warm. . Set right in the heart of Maltaâs main fishing village, Marsaxlokk , La Nostra Padron
We were lucky and got the last table for lunch on Sunday, when Marsaxlokk is manic with people strolling around the large market. The restaurant was very busy and this showed in the service, with our vegetables arriving when we were well into the meal.My wife had grilled calamari that was very good and our friend polished the plate of her saffron seafood risotto. I had linguine alla vongole that was very tasty; the portion size was too large for me to cope with.

Situated a little further away from the hustle and bustle of Marsaxlokk, Terrone at 1 Wilga Street, is a real gem that we were lucky to stumble upon. We were really looking for the public loos at the time but having been. why not indeed. We hadnât booked but, if you to have a drink while youâre waiting, so with did just that, 15 minutes later who were shown to the table. We started with scallopâs with sandfire were cooked just right, and delicious. For mains I went with the seabass was excellent, I stayed on the beer with a pint of Cisk or two.Not only was the food excellent the owner was so nice and recommended great options to eat. The service was perfect! I highly recommend this restaurant. Overall a highly pleasurable experience, served and executed by locals with that exceptional (and rare) Maltese hospitality flare.

T'Anna Mari Restaurant is situated in Marsaxlokk, in the South of Malta. Here you can enjoy the best Mediterranean dishes created by Salvatore.
The best restaurant in Marsaxlokk. (2 people dining, aprx. 19:15)Service was truly excellent, friendly, but very professional. We both would recommend to book a table beforehand or be early in the evening when the restaurant opens. We had 2 cocktails, bottle of wine, two mains and dessert with coffee. Price was below what we expected, and quality of each food was first class. We would come back even for the bread, never had better, a big thank you to the whole restaurant, hopefully we will come and see you again!

We came here based on a localâs recommendation and it was very good. We are outside on the terrace overlooking the port and the market. Upon the owners recommendation I took the king prawns freshly caught. It was delicious. Simple but delicious. We had the octopus tartare and it was very fresh and delicious as well. Grilled calamari was well cooked , melting in our mouth and seasoned to perfection. I would have given you a 5* review but the fact that the lobster was alive in a see trough box in front of me during my lunch, disturbed me. I am obviously not vegan but it was disturbing to have that poor little lobster suffer in front me. I donât want to see that while I have lunch. Also his legs were sticking out of the box and everything was going through it and Iâm sure it hurt him. I observed the reaction of the people walking by and a lot of them had the same reaction as me. Itâs maybe better to keep it behind closed doors instead of showing it off.

Newly Opened Restaurant in the south of Malta, offering mouthwatering dishes. We offer Pizza, Pasta, Grill and Seafood
Chose this restaurant because of the reviews on Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. The food was first-rate. We had the seabass and the calamari. Both were fresh and very appetizing. For desert I wanted my friends to taste Maltese 'mqaret' and, although they were not on the menu on that day, the chef still prepared them for us and they were delicious
