Take-out/Delivery Hours are as posted... RESTAURANT CLOSES HALF HOUR EARLIER
We have been on a search for great pizza for over half a decade. Some decent pies have come and then gone. Finally we ate two terrible ones from a very popular chain last week and had to try something new. We just ate our first Abruzzo pizza and it was the BEST pizza we have ever ate in our lives. The pizza is perfectly built with toppings perfectly balanced. The strength of flavour in the mushrooms, onions and peppers balanced so beautifully with the shockingly good pepperoni. The slices of REAL bacon and a delightful salami...this was a perfect pie. Now to the real deal. The crust is like a cracker crust. The crust is so delicious by itself that just that would be a nice meal. The cheese used was so ropey and rich, it danced on the palate with every bite. The pizza sauce is one of the finest Italian sauces that I have ever had. That sauce would do pasta a beautiful job. On the pizza, it just raises the bar higher than I thought possible. Dynamic in flavour, the fresh herbs and hints of garlic and olive oil just explode in your mouth. We cannot recommend this pizza enough. You may have eaten many others (and many others may cost less) but here, you are paying for artisanal quality. The best pizza available. Get some and give your mouth a party.

The pizza is delicious and worth a try, but not a good place to do group or family orders. Quite costly.

My wife and I had our first date at an Italian restaurant in Scarborough 25 years ago so we chose Carmelina to celebrate. The caprese salad was delicious but the ahi tuna was overcooked and my wife had seafood pasta with mussels that were served cold and calamari that was overcooked and chewy. Nice place but when we got the bill on a credit card the gratuity options started at 18% and went up from there. Quite presumptuous in my opinion.

Fantastic experience to say the least! Excellent choice for business-casual dining, special occasion or if you're like me, just a pleasant dining experience with great food. :-)Decided on Il Postino based on it's location on Main Street in Unionville and reviews of other visitors. Our experience was an outstanding one and everyone in our group of 3 enjoyed everything we ordered. As a frequent business traveler to the Greater Toronto Area, I was eager to visit the popular, and nearby Unionville Main Street, while staying in Markham. Il Postino has made my list of repeat-visit restaurants while here. Made a reservation through Open Table and was quickly greeted upon entering the establishment. Since most of my party had already arrived, I was escorted by the Host to our table. Several in my party already had cocktails and our server immediately arrived to take my drink order and also provided us with the specials for the evening. We ordered the Steamed Mussels in a slightly spicy tomato broth and Caesar Salad. The mussels were cooked perfectly - very moist, plump and flavorful. The tomato broth with the mussels, while referred to as 'spicy' in the server's description, was not spicy at all. The Caesar Salad was crispy romaine as expected with adequate and delicious Caesar dressing topped with Parmesan and homemade croutons. Entrees consisted of a Gemelli pasta special with Beef Tenderloin, Tagliatelle Bolognese, and Rigatone All'Amatriciana. Wow, absolutely spectacular dishes for all of us and 3 clean plates to say the least! The Gemelli Beef Tenderloin special was an amazing blend of a light sauce with pieces of perfectly cooked beef tenderloin intermingled with bit of fresh herbs. The Tagliatelle Bolognese, to put it simply, was so good I could eat this every single night. Simple but an absolutely incredible slow-cooked Bolognese with perfectly cooked Tagliatelle. Rigatone All'Amatriciana was spectacular.Free parking is available behind the restaurant. My local friends tell me the street is a zoo in warmer periods of the year, so I would recommend planning ahead. I hope to dine here again, but on the patio, in the coming months while in the GTA on business during the warmer months when it isn't blanketed in snow! :-)

We are a fine Italian dining establishment known for great service and great meals. Our ambiance is inviting and are portions are generous. No one leaves Novita hungry. We look forward to welcoming you to our restaurant.
Bad experience! The quality of the food was less than average. The waitress was nice until we paid, unsatisfied with our tips and demanded much more.

Excellent Italian Restaurant.
The restaurant was my regular for a number of years. Slowly, I started to realize that the food and services was getting sloppy and inattentive.Lamb chop are from frozen meat, definitely not like from that of unfrozen Ontario lamb. Steaks are thin and chewy from cheaper quality of cut.Mixed salads or ceasar salad are usually lack of taste and ingredients. You can tell how attentive they are when they just put only lettuce without much ingredients. The dressing are usually sparing and tasteless. You have to catch the waiters when he was flying by your tablet on their way to the kitchen. They also fail to acknowledge old repeat customers even we have been there so many times because the restaurant is close to my neighbourhood. They treat you equal like everyone else, none smiling, just cut the chase and order.Too bad.Fred

Four of us dined at Scaddabush on Saturday night to celebrate a birthday. Our meals were delicious and the service was great but I almost had a heart attack when I checked the nutrition chart for what we had eaten and saw the fat that we had ingested. Scaddabush has been our go to restaurant of late but we're going to have to change things up now that reality has set in. Our favourite zucca pasta has 58g of fat per serving and the pizza has 43g of fat (made to feed one person). I think that Scaddabush should come up with some lower fat options. You don't need that much fat to be good.

While the décor is average, the food is fantastic. Folco imports many items direct from Italy which could explain the taste sensation they achieve with their sauces, appetizers and mains. Their pasta is made in house from an original Italian recipe and all the pastas are to die for...real fresh Italian pasta. The wine menu is expansive and the prices are about average. We had their house white and red and both were good.Service was exceptional and everything was done to keep us happy to be dining with them.
