We wanted somewhere close to The Curve Theatre, but not your typical mainstream restaurant, to have an anniversary meal for catching a show.How lucky were we to fall upon this little gem! From outside I was a little dubious what it would be like inside, but once through the door it was great. Amazing surroundings, friendly staff, absolutely delicious food and great price! We cannot fault this restaurant at all. We will definitely return and happily recommend.

We enjoyed a seven member family celebration meal at the Caravelli in early July. We had been to the restaurant before but quite a few years ago. We checked the reviews, which were very positive and booked for a Friday evening.On arrival at the restaurant, it was already busy and the atrmosphere was vibrant. We were met very enthusiastically on arrival and we had the choice of having drinks at the bar first or going straight to the table. Having chosen to go straight to the table, we were greeted by our waiters, provided the menu and had our drinks order taken. We ordered a mixture of starters from the menu and main courses, some from the menu and some from the specials board. By the end of the main course, we were all too full to go for a dessert! The overall quality of the food was just excellent. Every dish served was hot and looked really appetising. Everyone said how much they enjoyed their dishes and said they were extremely tasty. There were clean plates all round. I also want to mention the service, which was friendly and extremely attentive. It did not take long for our starters to arrive and our main courses were delivered soon after. We were visited to check that everything was satisfactory and to take more drinks orders. All in all, a lovely evening all round, thanks to the front of house and the chef's team. We all thought that the menu pricing was great value for money. Thoroughly recommended!

Visited peter in Loughborough one weeknight evening with a couple of work colleagues.Hadnât been for years as I didnât enjoy my first visit and hadnât been back. However my colleague said it was good and suggested it so I went.I still find the decor a bit confused as I did back the first time but I think it must be me as everyone else seems to like it. Main thing - pizza was good and tasty. Crisp base and great flavour although a few more toppings wouldnât have gone amiss. Definitely not the soggy affair from my first visit. Warm friendly greeting on arrival and our table was ready and waiting.Our waitress Sam was lovely..service with a genuine smile and very friendly which made us feel very welcome.The menu is tapas style and very varied which caters for many tastes and dietry needs; our order came out very hot and tasted great as always..compliments to the kitchen staff.We ordered a sweet and 2 members of staff came to our table with it, and a sparkling candle was with the dessert..they then sang "Happy Birthday" to my wife which was a great personal touch.It was busy and had an excellent atmosphere, but service was spot on.Highly recommended for couples, families or parties alike.Service, Food and atmoshere 5 stars!Thank you for a lovely evening.Hello,Thank you for your amazing 5* review of our restaurant!We are so pleased yourself and your wife enjoyed your time, especially hearing that our staff went the extra mile for you!We will make sure our lovely server Sam is well rewarded for all her hard work.See you soon,The White Horse Team

Fantastic family restaurant, the service was great and the food was classic Italian and great value for money.The squid was fresh and delicately cooked, the special pasta was very delicious. All the dishes served were some of the best Italian food we have had.We were a party of six and all our food was served at the same time.A must place to go back to.

We went for a girly catch up. One of our party had been before but I hadnât. The menu looked promising but it actually delivered. Wow. Just yummy. I had the âsurf and turfâ which was fillet steak and prawns/mussels. Yum. Loved it. My type of food. The house wine was tip too too

Pizza was sent back. It was either not cooked or very soggy; either way not a nice pizza - no apology was made; it was clearly me in the wrong. It was replaced with pasta and tomato sauce - which was very small. It had been cooked with cheese too which I didnât want; when asked he claimed it was yellow tomatoâs in the dish. That tasted of cheese? Wonât be back. Await off hand response as you will see in other negative reviews. Prego.We serve an authentic Neapolitan pizza featuring a handmade dough that is carefully proved over 2 days - if that is not to your taste, then we are very sorry to hear it, but as natives of Campania we will claim to know a thing or two about how an authentic pizza is made.Our pasta is also carefully handmade, and the sauce we made for you incorporated yellow tomatoes, as you were informed during your visit. If the serving size was not sufficient, again there are a number of other establishments that will happily provide you with over-sized portions of poor quality pasta, perhaps you would be happier visiting those?We hope this is the response you were hoping for. We respond to negative reviews with honesty - where we've made a mistake we hold up our hands and try to learn from it. Where it is the customer who has the wrong end of the stick then we like to gently explain why that is the case, so that no further misunderstandings arise.
