Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Marigot. The principal town and capital of French St. Martin, Marigot is an appealing spot with brightly colored houses, a scattering of restaurants and lively produce and crafts markets. It’s a great base for exploring St. Martin’s secluded beaches (many clothing optional) and its more vibrant, family-popular ones. Marigot is within easy reach of the famed restaurants at nearby Grand Case, said to have the Caribbean's best dining. Kept temperate by trade winds, Marigot stays warm and sunny year-round.

We ate here on two separate nights and both experiences the food was fantastic. Reasonable priced, too. We enjoyed the open-air seating, and the servers were friendly. It was a great option as a family, with good prices and large portions.

Al Dente is a untouched gem near Grand-Case that is consistently producing creative starters and mains. The service is excellent. The owner Raphael, knows everything about St. Martin. His hospitality and sense of humor adds to your dining experience. Al Dente is well maintained and has a nice welcoming atmosphere for a great dining experience. The menu has something for everyone. I would like to recommend Al Dente to everyone visiting St. Martin. Al Dente will soon be in the top 10 of restaurants in Grand-case! I will be back!!

Sale e Pepes came highly recommended and didn't disappoint. We were seated overlooking the water and the breeze coming thru the patio area was quite nice. The decor is very classy (for St. Maarten) yet comfortable. The menu is quite extensive, having something for everyone, tho' slightly on the pricey side. However, the portions are more than adequate. And, they have a large number of specials in addition to the menu. It seemed to take awhile to get our meals but that gave us time to savor the great bread and very flavorful olive oil. Our server was very friendly and good with the kids. Several staff came by to make sure everything was to our liking, including the chef. The food was good - probably the best meal we've had on the island. I'm adding Sale e Pepes to my list of "go to"s for a return trip to St. Maarten.

Being from Washington DC, we're savvy to good service and food. Upon entering, a nearly empty restaurant without a reservation, the host attempted to seat us away from everyone else at a terrible table without a view of the yachts and marina. When I said no thank you and refused the table i said," that's OK we'll go somewhere else"...a reserved table became available. The pasta is ok, the menu somewhat limited. The goat cheese salad is ample enough to share and delicious! A large table of 20+ people came in and it was a free for all calling out orders for their table, rushed and disorganized. We were full, but dessert wasn't offered. The evening was very transactional and we left feeling duped. Remember service is included on the French side. When I asked if tip was included the waiter/host gave me the correct answer, but never mentioned service was included. Great view and decent food. If you go, remember the staff should provide a good experience not attitude. Good luck.

Isola is an authentic Italian restaurant with the purpose of delivering the best food and service to its guests. Prime materials straight off Italy, the manager from Milan, the chef from Rome and the pizza man from Naples are the perfect ingredients for a
Location was super convenient so we tried it with a relatively large group. Food was good, some dishes better than others. The lasagna was just OK, but others raved about the veal meatballs, salmon, half moon ravioli and lobster risotto. Ceases salad OK. Also had the scallop appetizer with puffed pastry that was amazing. It was nice that we could split the salad and appetizer and the salad was huge. Service was OK, got slower as the night progressed...took a long time to get deserts and then the check and also the left over to go items. Not sure I would go again as there are some other amazing Italian restaurants in the area if you have a car or taking taxis.

Beautiful dinning room thatâs split in two levels. Nice bar on right side as you enter the restaurant and faces the upper level dining room. Inside dining has air conditioning. There is a small outside dining deck at the front entrance. The food was amazing. we started with the salmon an whoo tartare. My wife had the pappardelle in a beef bologenes sauce. I had the lobster ravioli in a luscious cream and mascarpone sauce. Both home made pastaâs and the starter were excellent!Nice wine list

We arrived late from our flight so we wanted something simple and easy. We were delighted at how good the pizza was!! The dough was tasty and crisp. Their pizza options had a nice variety too. Also, their daily specials and pasta dishes looked good. The bar has some good drinks and you can enjoy the view of the water!

Our party ordered a variety of foods and appetizers. Bruschetta included many ingredients and daughter loved it....it prefer the more basic recipe. Servings were large. All meals were tasty and well flavored. Enough to take home for another meal. Met the owner who admits he is leaving to go back to the States to spend time with the "grands:
