Petinesca is a simple restaurant with a very good quality-price ratio, which we therefore can certainly recommend. We enjoyed their three 'specialities': the pizza, the homemade chicken cordon bleu and the steak we had to fry ourselves on a hot stone, all three were certainly worth the money.

This is one of my local restaurants and is a pleasure to visit. The food served is always hot and tasty.Their speciality is pizza and they serve the best pizzas for miles. Thin based and with plenty of taste.The place itself is very nicely decorated unlike many restaurants in Switzerland which can be old fashioned and in need of a refurb.Their sweets and coffee are exceptional and the coffee comes in a decent sized cup more like starbucks than your usual swiss style coffee cup.Well worth a visit on a Saturday lunch as you get a salad and a pizza for around 20 chf, in a Saturday special offer.A great place to go in summer and winter as their is also seating upstairs and on the balcony during summer months.Great for families or alone if you just want a quality pizza, or a nice sized and tasty coffee.

Had Dinner there several times. Always a great experience. Local products served in delicious combinations. Try to get a seat in the "saloon" it's worth to wait...try the cote de boeuf!!

Es war unser zweiter Versuch im Bahnhöfli. Den Ersten haben wir abgebrochen, weil wir schlicht zu lange nicht bedient wurden letzten Sommer auf der Terrasse. Da war wohl nicht genügend Personal vorhanden.Doch dieses negative Erlebnis wollten wir nun überschreiben und entschieden uns spontan am Sonntag Abend ins Bahnhöfli zu spazieren um etwas zu essen. Wir waren sehr erstaunt, es waren noch zwei 2er-Tische frei, resp. waren reserivert, wir durften uns dann aber an einen der beiden Tische setzen.Die Gaststube ist mit allerlei urigen Sachen dekoriert, diverse Sprüche, Gummistiefel, saisonale Deko und vieles mehr, sehr passend.Wir hatten einen Tipp erhalten, dass das Bison-Filet auf Speckstein eine wunderbares Erlebnis sein soll, also haben wir uns trotz des stolzen Preises darauf festgelegt. Man kann zwischen 200, 300 und 400 Gramm aussuchen, dazu werden 3 Saucen und eine Beilage serviert.Wir erhielten eine Glückskäfer-Serviette über den Kopf gestülpt und bald darauf ging es los. Die Chefin hat uns geraten das Fleisch erst nach und nach zu schneiden und auf dem Stein zu braten.Es war das beste Stück Fleisch, das ich je gegessen habe! Sehr zart, sehr geschmackvoll - die Saucen wären eigentlich fast überflüssig. Ein tolles Erlebnis, das unsere 1. Erfahrung im Bahnhöfli definitiv überschrieben hat.Wir kommen wieder und suchen uns dann etwas Anderes aus der Karte aus. Vielleicht.

Ein Einkehren im Meienried-Pintli ist v.a. in der Sommerzeit sehr angenehm, weil es für einen Zwischenhalt auf einer Velotour in der sehr schönen Gegend des Häftli super gelegen ist und die Gartenwirtschaft ideal. Karte relativ reichhaltig, Essen gut, Bedienung freundlich. Gaststube sieht heimelig aus.An heissen Sommerabenden wegen der Nähe des zum Teil sumpfigen Wassers Mückenschutz empfehlenswert!

Quite good and sophisticated italian cuisine. Staff sometimes a little bit at the Limit of friendlyness. But over all worth a stop and dine.
