We are the original Mario Fazio's love is all around you, fresh seasonal food a great value. Family owned and operated for 46 years.
My dad and I go to Cleveland every few months and wusually have dinner with his college friend who lives in Mentor while we're there. We're all Italian so we like to find a different Italian restaurant to try and Mario Fazio's was convenient for everyone. It did not disappoint one bit. Even though it was our first time, Lisa (the owner's daughter I believe) made us feel like regulars. We an appetizer, salads, and dinners and it was a ton of food! The Stuffed Hot Peppers weren't exactly stuffed peppers. They were two full links of delicious and perfectly cooked Italian sausage covered in hot peppers, sauce, and cheese. The two older guys had the Eggplant Terrine which was very good and not mushy at all. I had the Doreen's Pasta, which was easily the best dish I've ever had in an Italian restuarant. Our server, Jamie, was very friendly and attentive but also gave us our space. If you ever find yourself around Cleveland and want good Italian, go to Mario Fazio's.
This was our first visit to to a Bravo and unfortunately we were underwhelmed. The food was rather bland. The timing of the appetizer was also unfortunate. We ordered the Crispy Mozzarella Ravioli and while they were ok, we barely had time to finish them and our meal was out. I ordered the Grilled Chicken & Vegetable Pasta, and was surprised how much it lacked flavor. He ordered the Pasta Bravo and was also surprised how you really couldn't taste the roasted red pepper in the sauce. It wasn't a horrible experience, and maybe this was intentional, you can add your own salt and pepper to add taste, but I still desired more.

Great Pizza made with fresh ingredients. The wedding soup is awesome too. The parking lot is small but they also do take-out. They are close to John Carroll University which make is a great place to grab a pizza for study times.

This is a small, welcoming red sauce Italian restaurant in Mayfield Heights. Full bar, ample parking. A lower price menu available until 6:30- full meal most under $20.00. Can also share regular entrees for a $3.00 charge. Service quite good. No complaints.5 of 6 very happy with dinner. Mussels and pasta a bit disappointing.

While traveling in Cleveland, we ordered a Sicilian pizza and subs a few times. We also had a Sicilian pizza for the Super Bowl in February. All were fantastic with delicious sauce. It is strictly pick-up or delivery. Employees are extremely friendly. I'll be there again upon my return to the east side of Cleveland.

It was a doctorâs visit for me before taking a dine path. Looked at a place on Mayfield that looked like a restaurant, on the windows it said SUBS and SOUP, maybe not in that order, but it looked like a green house of some sort. In the parking lot, to prevent getting out of the car, I asked a guy if this place was a restaurant, he said it was a grocery store, but suggested a place down the street a bit further. It was Aboâs. Aboâs Grill. The many times Iâve passed this place just recently, never noticed it, but the guy said it was an Italian place, so there I was. I had the shrimp linguini, because I asked for angel hair spaghetti, my favorite pasta with heavy garlic and butter. I donât remember the shrimp, but I could taste the garlic. I donât know why, but I love garlic and pasta. The food was good, prepared by the son of the owner if I got my information straight from a girl from Pittsburgh. She was a Cavâs fan, because Pittsburgh doesnât have a basketball team. Her name was Kate. Her service and attitude were flawless, but the true gem here is the owner. Sam. Sam and I must have talked a good 20 minutes or so. And it was good conversation. I was so impressed with the place, I came back the next day. This time Kelly was the service. Different in style than Kate but still attentive. The place is spectacular. A nice size with a patio in the back, even a spot that a couple could eat out front if they had a mind too. It was a beautiful little spot and a spots bar/restaurant. Iâm happy out of all the restaurants on Mayfield, the guy in the grocery store parking lot directed me to it. I feel like I met friends, especially the owner, Sam. Worth it.

Piccolo is a small restaurant which evidently enjoys a repeat clientele. We split an entree, Penne Arrabiata, and an accompanying Panzanella Salad, both excellent, although the arrabbiata was a bit mild. We added an order of two meatballs - tasted like the meatballs from a neighborhood in Chicago -- excellent. We finished splitting an order of spumoni, very smooth and creamy. Everything was accompanied by a nice Montepulciano. Our server was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable.

The competition for business, to obtain and keep customers, is fierce Why go to a place or order from an establishment that has a nasty attitude, when you have thousands of dozens of different ways to put a decent meal together. Since my wife gets a lot of food for different places where she works, she is able to sample and see for herself, what she may or may not like. And there are more than enough places in the area that deliver. Here comes Jetâs Pizza. Iâm going to be honest, I never even heard of Jetâs Pizza. But they have a large variety of pizzas to choose from. They have wings, and salads, bread sticks too.. We happened to have salads. The Greek salad and the Antipasto salad. Nice portion and the salads were fresh. Both my wife and I, had some of both. I would have been happy with either one, but I didnât mind sharing.

Getting desperate for decent Pizza after having had some of the best on the east coast, we remembered this restaurant that originally was a converted Arabica coffee house. We knew the family name that owned it since it was one of the premiere restaurateurs in the Cleveland area so we decided to give it a shot. Were we ever pleased that we made that choice. The pizza was as good if not better that our East coast experiences and the Ravioli was wonderful. If you have room after your meal and even if you have to take it out, order the Nutella calzone or the Napoleon....you won't be sorry.

Years ago, Brio was one of my favorite restaurants. Then, they changed the menu and because Brio Coastal Kitchen, and after one disappointing visit, I did not return. I was thrilled to hear that they had dropped that concept, and I did return earlier this year when they went back to their old menu (for the most part). Imagine our disappointment when we went last night only to find that they had completely revamped the menu one more time and took off everything we liked. I'm guessing we weren't alone in not liking the menu....the Cheesecake Factory just across the way had a full lobby of people waiting for a seat, and Brio was empty! Our service was fine. The food was just average, but that was probably because I didn't like most of what was on the menu and ended up ordering a Caesar Salad with grilled chicken, which was just like every other salad I've ever had.We won't be back until we hear that they've changed the menu again.
