Late night dinner. Looking for an open place good with kids, open at 11pm, and serving drinks. The only search criteria we put in Google Maps was Arts district and this came up. And an excellent recommendation at that.We had the calamari and the Cherries & Tomatoes for starters and the Burrata pizza and the fagilioni pasta for mains. All 4 exceptional with each dish cooked with care. Even the tomatoes in the starters were like perfectly picked. For wine had 2 glasses of the Valfaccenda Roero red from Piemonte. By the glass. Exceptional..looking to buy a bottle.Exceptional place. Exceptional service. Heather was great.Recommended. Highly.

Great pizza served piping hot to your picnic type table and bench. The offer two sizes an 11 inch and 16 inch thin crust pie. Everything is served on a commercial baking sheet making it easy for all to dig in. You order up front and either eat it there or for take-out. The have four pizza ovens that can crank out pies quickly. The menu offers something for any palate. Boxes of ingredients are stored right in the eating area of this warehouse sized space. Prices are modest and families are welcome.

We came here for a mid-week dinner to celebrate a birthday. It turned out to be a lovely dinner - overall location and ambiance, good food. Portions a bit uneven (mine for the baccala was on the small side whereas my hubby's meat/polenta dish was huge). Pizza was so-so, a bit doughy. Appetizers were fabulous as well as cocktails. We plan on going back - it'a a higher end place but we liked it enough to try it again.

The Factory Kitchen serves traditional Italian fare including delicate house-made pastas, fresh seafood and focaccinas in the heart of the thriving Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles. Established in 2013. This trattoria-style restaurant is the product
Food was delicious, excellent pastas which reminded me of a summer on the Amalfi Coast. The mandilli di seta was one of the most delicate, flavorful dishes we have eaten, like silk in your mouth. The pappardelle was delicious, light with just the correct amount of meat. Many times pappardelle can be heavy and rich, this dish was just right, great pasta, light sauce, truly delicious. The casonzei was flavorful and tasty. Pastas are clearly handmade to order. Down side is the place is extremely noisy for someone - like me - with a hearing disorder. I wish they had seating which dampened the noisy which for someone with a VA hearing disability made it difficult to hear. Wine list was very good and complimented the menu, reasonably priced all things considered. I would highly recommend the food and the service with the caveat that it is very noisy and difficult to hear conversations. Food was very reasonably priced as was the wine.

Amazing food, expensive but worth every penny. Couldn't fault anything, the setting, location, interior, drinks and food was lovely. The service was swift and efficient. We turned up without a reservation, but the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be going back and would highly recommend!

Because of its strategic location, we frequently meet friends from Pasadena there for dinner . ie - it's convenient! It is popular, busy and bustling. The seating is comfortable. The wait staff is professional and attentive, but the food is rather mediocre and quite salty. I've never had a delicious meal at Ca' del Sole.

We were in Los Angeles on a business trip and stopped by this restaurant for some Italian food. The food was excellent and the service was great. The calamari appetizer was amazing. The spaghetti and meatballs special was excellent. The linguine with Fruti de Mari was also excellent. There was a good selection of wines, and the markup on the wines was very reasonable. This is a good selection for a great Italian meal.

We visited tonight. Restaurant was very busy and had a good atmosphere. We had to wait a little while for our table but for our our trouble we were given a small glass of Prosecco and then a margarita pizza for the table too. Nice touch but did mean we didnât want any starters which didnât seem to go down well with our server. We had lasagna and aubergine pasta. Both were lovely, fresh and tasty but very small portions. Especially the lasagna at $24 a portion. It could have easily been double the size for that price. Wine was lovely and sommelier gave us a good recommendation and didnât actually try and up sell us. Total bill came to over $181 which is a lot for 3 mains, a bottle of wine ($60), 1 pudding and a couple of coffees. Nice but very expensive for what it is.

Here with an extended family of 20. We had a reservation and all went well. Food just kept coming out. They have a regular menu and the family style menu that we ordered from. We had trouble fitting all the food on our table. Restaurant was packed. We enjoyed our dinner. Calamari, Meatballs, Bruschetta, Salad, Tiramisu, etc. all very good. .
