Our name derives from the Italian word meaning a restaurant serving wine and simple food, âosteria,â and the Italian phrase meaning to sit and relax, âposto.â This approach to heartfelt hospitality and thoughtful food characterizes our take on todayâs Ita
Special family dinner celebrating a birthday. Our first time at this restaurant and it won't be our last! Each of the entrees were outstanding: Tagliatelle; Seared Gnocchi; Scallops; Veal Marsala (special). The Fire and Ice cocktail was a hit with two of the diners. There is a children's menu, pasta with butter, pasta with red sauce, pasta with meatball. Chocolate cake for dessert was very light and delicious. Servers were attentive and vey helpful. Will definitely return.

Food was just ok. Pretty standard menu a la Macaroni Grill. Ahi tuna was over seasoned and an average cut. Beer glasses smelled of bleach. Second order stayed in the bottle.Service was mediocre. Had to get the waitresses' attention to get them to notice you needed more bread or another beverage. Likely a one time visit as there are better options in the area.

Il Capriccio serves a constantly changing Northern Italian menu featuring local products with an award winning Italian wine and Grappa list. Though long considered a local secret, Il Capriccio has been the number one Northern Italian restaurant in Zagat's
This restaurant has been operating for many years and has managed to maintain a high quality of service, food, and wine. We had a pleasant dinner there recently with excellent friendly service and delicious appetizers. However, we all ordered the same entree special, soft shell crabs, and found them to be mushy and the sauce so heavy that the delicate crab flavor was obscured. Despite this minor imperfection, the meal was excellent overall and the wine list, nearly exclusively Italian, is outstanding.

Flatbread Company is a mostly organic, wood fired, full service pizza restaurant. We have a commitment to source local and organic foods whenever possible, while giving back to the community through benefits and sponsorship.
Our business group has order a variety of Flatbread pizzas for business meetings via takeout; and have been satisfied with this style of pizza. With the right toppings, these pizzas can be relatively healthy.

Our family of four went to La Campania on a busy Thursday evening and although we had to wait almost half an hour after our scheduled reservation to be seated it was certainly worthwhile. The appetizers â roasted fig, carpaccio, prosciutto and beet insalata â were all enjoyed. The rack of lamb chosen by one of our party was rated âthe best in a very long timeâ while the half rabbit selected by another was âsimply outstandingâ. The duck and tagliolini entrees were also appreciated. The desserts â three chocolate souffles and a tiramisu were exquisite. All in all, a delightful experience.

Very reliable thin crust pizza. The barbecue chicken is delicious. As is the Fenway Park (sausage, peppers and onions). The MGH (broccoli, spinach and feta) is another favorite. Most need salt. Sometimes they tend to burn the bottom. Overall, a worthwhile meal. Good flavor and not too filling.

Having eaten here once before I knew what me and my work team were in for when we made a reservation. This place is hands down one of the premier places to eat outside Boston. It should be great since it is part of the Columbia group of restaurants which includes Moo and Mistral and Sorellina among many others. The place does sit a little off the beaten path in Burlington but it battles against the tons of other restaurants they keep opening in this area and wins every time. The menu here is mostly steak but sprinkles in a bit of seafood and Italian dishes and chicken. Everything you order, every bite is spectacular here and the staff waits on you hand and foot. The decor, the bar area and everything about this place screams elegance and this place really backs it up. It blows away neighboring Capital Grille and is comparable to across the way Bancroft. The price tag is hefty, but worth every penny for the quality and finesse of this food. Everything is cooked to perfection and start to finish one of the better meals you will get north of the city.

Bertucci's restaurants are firing-up brick ovens from New England to Virginia, each reflecting the distinct character and local charm of its community. Like the original Bertucci's, every kitchen is open, making our brick oven part of the restaurant exper
Kind of hard to make Italian food bland, but this place did. And they made us wait for it as well. I found this all very surprising since I have been to other Bertucci's with pleasant results. The ravioli I ordered was served warmish and before my wife's chicken marsala. My side of meatballs came in third, after my entree and my wife's entree. The other surprise I got was $10 for a glass of house wine. I don't usually mention price, but maybe I was a little more sensitive after the very slow service. My wife said her chicken marsala was very good, which tells me that they can do things right if they put their minds to it. Her roasted potatoes were a little soggy; not the crisped finish she expected. All in all, a disappointment.Trainman334, we're sorry to hear about your dining experience on your recent visit. Friendly and welcoming, Il Casale is a great place to dine with friends and family and feel at home. The wait staff is knowledgeable and professional with excellent wine recommendations and food suggestions. The dishes are well-prepared with excellent, fresh ingredients. The warm buttery butter cake dessert with almond ice cream is exquisite.

this is a hard one. for me, the ravioli-sausage parmesan was tasty, but heavy. portion generous, sausage of good quality, sauce good.my wife had spaghetti and meatballs, which she really liked.staff friendly. service fine. good value.this is a sort of old-school Italian place, harkens back to the fifties in style of cooking. solid food, but not elegant Italian cuisine. certainly, in stating this, I am appreciating that this is not a chain restaurant, so the uniqueness of the place deserves credit. it is a favorite with the locals. My overall rating is up-rated a bit, but since it is a solid place that has been in Lexington for many years, it gets credit.
