Stopped in for pizza with my 3 kids. There was nobody else there... Completely empty. The owner said he didn't us to be there if we were only going to get two entrees. 3 kids don't consume entire entrees on their own and will always share a pizza. Avoid
When set against the small cafes selling pizzas or high-end restaurants costing you â¬60 at least for lunch, we thought Vino Rocco fills a rather pleasant in-between gap. We were in a hurry and just wanted a âplat du jourâ with some wine. The food changes daily. I had a very nice farm raised chicken with vegetables, all very well cooked and a pichet of more than acceptable rose wine. My partner had a very nice terrine with salad and copious amounts of rather delicious crusty baguette. All the plats du jours are about â¬7 a go and thereâs also a selection of salad or terrines. Interestingly, as part of Vino Rocco, thereâs a wine cave. It offers a range of Provencal roses and whites, but also some decent Bordeaux and Burgundy wines and all at none Cote dâAzur prices. They had some champagne on offer, which we picked up at â¬16 a bottle. Itâs certainly a place weâd go back too as itâs unfussy, thereâs no pressure, the food is wholesome and if the mood takes you, you can buy a bottle of wine from the cave and sit under the trees and enjoy the sunshine.

You know you're dealing with an excellent restaurant when the parking lot is full to overflowing. This is the case, especially at lunchtime at Trattoria Quattro. Lunch reservations are a MUST. The pizzas are thick-crusted with soft, chewy edges and topped with the high quality ingredients. Pastas are perfectly al denge and the sauces are just about perfect, whichever one you choose. Desserts are very good, but it's the main course that will really impress you. Cheerful and helpful servers are multi-lingual and very eager to please.

We sometimes eat there or take away pizzas and weâve never been disappointed. The staff is very nice and welcoming.
This used to be our local Pizza place by the Opio roundabout but they moved to Le Rouret. The lady who runs the place is really committed and the pizzas are excellent. I have only had takeaway but the place also has places to eat in quite a nice ambiance. The Pizzas are delicious and now English Fish and Chips are available also....much liked by the French!

This is the kind of place you take ravenous young adults after a hard day's trekking or sailing. It may be no gourmet restaurant but the helpings are are on the large side while the bill is relatively small. And the food and ambiance are not bad at all. You can sit out or in as the weather or mood dictate; the service is rapid and friendly. As its name indicates it specializes in Italian and the pizzas looked particularly good. We ordered "Rognons à la Dijonaise" and they came XXL with a healthy side of "allumettes" and tomatoes. Puddings are perhaps not their strong suit, but perfectly OK. The set menu at â¬28.00 offers multiple choices, while the "A la Carte" offers yet more possibilities. But because they have good turnover, it is not over-ambitious. Definitely recommended.

Beautiful Italian dinner in the quiet pedestrian centre of Valbonne. Service was very good. Thereâs a nice selection of dishes including pasta, risotto, etc. Everything we tried was delicious. The pasta was of course cooked to perfection ;-) and we even enjoyed some desserts - the tiramisu & chocolate cake.

Visited with family for a pizza and some drinks. Staff were very friendly and helpful, even with an 18 month old tearing around the tables! Pizza was great, authentic tasting and very reasonably priced.

fully renovated restaurant, fully homemade kitchen. PIZZAS and meat over a wood fire. fresh fries, lasagna, salads... change of owners since June 2018
We found this place purely by chance whilst wandering around the cobbles streets after our chosen restaurant was fully booked. It was so good we went back several nights later! We were a party of 8, we were seated quickly on both occasions (at the same table-which the children loved!) and all our food, on both visits, was delicious. We sampled lasagne, pizzas, carbonara, and the chicken curry-which was a particular favourite! The service was excellent, we couldnât fault it and the food was delicious. Hello, we are happy to have pleased you during your visit in our restaurant! We do our utmost so that you crossed a good moment. See you very soon Stéphane

The pizza are good and large enough to satisfy strong appetite. The staff is always friendly. Even with a close passing road the terrace is always enjoyable. Warmly recommended.
