Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Lancaster. Pennsylvania Dutch country is a fascinating destination to explore. Visitors will get a glimpse of farm life as it was in the early 1800s. Visit markets and farm stores for homemade shoofly pie and fresh produce, or shop for a handmade quilt. President James Buchanan's elegant home, Wheatland, is no less historic but contrasts sharply to the simpler Pennsylvania Dutch heritage sites in Lancaster. Consider a side trip to nearby Hershey, home of Hershey Park and the Hershey chocolate factory.

We moved to this area 2 years ago and this is hands down the best pizza we have had around here. Of course we are from NY/NJ so we are used to a good slice. The ingredients were fresh and of good quality. Service was great and we will definitely be back

We stopped in for brunch. We were seated immediately and our orders taken quickly. The menu had a good variety. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The portions were quite large. The staff was reasonably friendly though not overly so. The interior was interesting with the salt and pepper theme. Though the place is fairly new, some of the walls showed a fair amount of wear from chairs rubbing against them (needs some paint). All in all, we would go enjoy going back.

Visiting the area and looking for an Italian restaurant. Found Ciro's and had a wonderful meal. Sauce was done right, preparation was perfect, and prices were reasonable. Bread made with rosemary was great. The desert bar was fantastic as well -- they have a "back door" if you want to just get dessert...almost 20 flavors of homemade gelato and the other usuals which looked fantastic. We had a one chocolate and one cookies-and-cream gelato, both delicious.

My Husband and I went here last Saturday evening after a hectic day off running errands, pre Christmas. We called ahead and we were early, but seated immediately because we were early and it wasn't busy. Our waiter, Joseph, was very engaging and he was attentive as well. My Husband and I both enjoyed our meals even though we both needed a box to take home the leftovers. I am a Dine Rewards Member which we redeemed that evening and my Husband was pleasantly surprised with the discount, and all and all we had a lovely evening, good food, and a really nice evening out after a busy day. They offer great service, decent food for a chain and nice Dine Rewards benefits, check it out if you haven't joined. Usually we frequent Outback Steakhouse, where I joined their Dine Rewards program, but sometimes times I like Italian I don't have to cook.

A nice restaurant and atmosphere. Neat booths in the wall for quiet dining or larger tables available for more seating. The calzones are delicious. I had spaghetti and meatballs which were good also but the specialty items seems to be the calzones. Good service and convenient location. Highly recommend

Arrived to a musty, unpleasant smell in the restaurant. Fake flowers were covered in heavy dust and the table had crumbs on it. The book on the table to look at items and specials was super greasy. Breadsticks were hard as a rock and stale, but in all fairness, the server did return with fresh ones. Salad was wet and lifeless....not at all like previous visits to an Olive Garden. The angel hair Pasta was crunchy on one side like it was under-cooked. The server was very nice...the only good thing about the visit.

Excellent wood-fired small plate and entree sized dishes, coupled with great service and a nice atmosphere. The noise level was âenergeticâ when full at dinner (i.e., loud but not overpowering). The biggest problem is parking, with a very small lot and a confusing patchwork of street regulations in the area. Reservations are a must here.
