My first impression was "Whaou". I was looking for a proper neapolitan pizza and walking around and looking at plates in the nearby restaurant, I thought I found "my" place. Pizzas look like neapolitan style. Then, I went in. Wonderfull ! Real oven, right temperature, hand made stretched dough and so on. The flour used was also the proper one. The neapolitan art was respected. Those guys know what they do, that's my place. Then, came the pizza. Disaponting. It was a little bit a flour remaining on the dough during cooking, it shouldn't have been. Worst, the tomato sauce was not fantastic and to ice the cake, the mozzarella was just choosen among the cheapest. This pizza is still probably better are in the restaurant around, but I was disapointed that those guys know the job, but serve you cheap things. The place is however pretty.

Saisonner restaurant open from February to November . European, French and Mediterranean food. no more italian pizza.
Four adults and three teenagers - the food is very good in this restaurant. The kids had pizza and our daughter had one with octopus that was very good in her opinion and it looked good. I had lobster risotto off the specials board and it was delicious and one friend had the lamb, which she loved. My husband had a steak and another friend the steak with foie gras, which looked fantastic but rather a lot of meat. Our deserts were just as good as our main courses. We booked a few days before so that we could eat at the back next to the water. The service was very good and very friendly. Brilliant evening out.

Although you can wait a very very long time for any service there is a great section of wine & the tapas is good. So glad the very young waitress has left has never met such a rude person. Thank you for your comments, we apologise for the slow service, we are very stretched at peak times. With regards to our Romanian waitress we can only say we are sorry you perceived her as a rude person perhaps due to her lack of english and poor french, she was a very bubbly and generally liked member of staff who had been employed for july and august onlyWe hope to see you again on your next visit!

These pizzas are seriously magnificent. I've been a customer of Pierrots since he operated a wood fired pizza oven out of a van. This little slice of shabby French chic style - with the best pizzas - in a small village restaurant are outstanding. Laid back music , friendly staff , no pretence at haut cuisine - just simply the best pizzas for miles.

We decided to stay here randomly for a dinner with pizza just because we're very hungry in Grimaud. That place had free tables and we were welcomed nicely very fast. The only problem we have seen that all prices for all dishes were a bit more than in similar restaurants. So average pizza was from 13-17 euro. The same about wine: normal prosecco that has a price 4-5 euro for a glass everywhere, here was 7.5 euro! Almost double price. At the same time pizza was not so cool, not generous, just a few small pieces of all ingredients. Mozzarella was not fresh. Prosciutto was the worst! Also from the photos it's obviously that they added just a few olives! not generous at all!So we didn't enjoy it at all, but paid more than in more cheaper restaurants for the worst quality. So overall the dinner was spoiled and we don't want to come back here at all.In my opinion, better to search for a better place in Grimaud for the same or less money!

In a lovely location, almost under the bridge and right on the canal this small Italian restaurant serves good (and yet nothing exceptional...)pizza and salads. The service is quick, friendly and "merry", the prices are perfect "value for money" and the house wine really good. It is so simple and cozy that you can go...again and again.!!!

After a disastrous fine dining booking that we ended up leaving, we arrived quite late to Pizza Leone and even though they were closing they prepared 2 very tasty pizzas for takeaway. Great job and super friendly staff.

Very friendly waiters, very slow food service. Pizza delicious but rest of the food small portions and disappointing. Very expensive drinks so the overall bill felt too much for the quality of food. Had to wait ages between courses, waiters working hard but perhaps more kitchen staff needed.

We visited la petite fontaine twice whilst we were staying in LGF. The restaurant was buzzing on the Saturday evening we ate there. Great menu choices and attentive staff. We went for the pasta dishes and mussels. Pasta was cooked to perfection and the ragu was rich and full of flavour. The mussel portion size was simply huge for â¬16 and great quality! (Would easily feed two people if eaten with a side dish) would recommend the oriental flavour as it was a very different take on any mussels that I have had before.Definately worth a visit, so much so we ate there twice in one week.
