Things to do in Kutchan-cho
It’s a good restaurant and with affordable prices. It is near Kutchan station about 8min walk. Drink special is great with 1500 JPY you can have unlimited drinks. And there are more specials to choose from. Restaurant environment is warm and cozy and food taste great.Mix of Chinese, Japanese, Italian there is a bit for everyone. This place is good for groups and couples. Only reason why I have this restaurant 4 is I think service can be improved, staff are great but they get frantic and forget things if foreigner walks in. And they are quiet young so they need a little seriousness but the service was good. Just picking on small things I observed. I have already been to this restaurant twice and I would definitely go again. Smoking area is outside the restaurant which is great.
Niseko Bion aims to bring you the best & freshest Hokkaido meat, seafood and seasonal vegetables on a traditional Italian firewood cuisine style. Boasting a carefully curated list of Italian and Australian wines that pairs excellently with the course menu
Had a slightly unusual experience at Bion. We walked down through heavy snow (weren't offered a pick-up which is slightly unusual in Niseko) and arrived at the restaurant to find we were the only diners, and were seated at the "Chef's Table", or a counter facing the galley kitchen. The meal was excellent - a set-menu - with a huge plateful of meat and cheese for my wife, and a tasty bean salad for me for starters. This was followed by deep-fried veggies (sort of like pakora or tempura?), a large frittata and excellent dessert. We would have probably preferred sitting at a normal table (which we expected would fill up sometime soon but never did) but in the end did enjoy chatting with the chef, who warmed up considerably during the meal.Service was very good (we had the staff to ourselves!) and it was a pleasant evening in the end, even the walk back home through deep snow (it had stopped snowing at least)...

This is a nice little restaurant serving up very nice Italian meals. They seem to have all the ingredients and flavours correct. We enjoyed one of the pastas during a lunch. Well appointed small resataurant, nice service. The portions were not huge but sufficient. Prices Mid Range for the area. it is a popular business lunch type venue. Its located very near to the traffic lights as you leave Hirafu - Izumikio for Kutchan (On the Left leaving Hirafu) opposite the very popular Soba place Ichimura.

For a unique dining and shopping experience in Niseko, SEKKA lab should be at the top of your list. During the day SEKKA lab is the perfect hangout for those ready to take a break from the mountain, get away from the crowds and wanting to experience the l
I have only eaten lunch and it was a set menu but you do have a choice. The black ink squid spaghetti was outstanding. ... great flavour and the pasta was cooked al dente. Very impressed. The ambiance is old Japan, with various antiques lamps and furniture. My lunch was an interesting salad, black ink squid spaghetti and a very good cappuccino for 1,500 yen

While it's still good, we went recently after all the crowds had left town so it was very quiet. The food and service quality seemed a little less in stars than my visit a couple of years ago. The pizza was a little lack luster on flavor and at ¥,2000, it's a high tariff in the now typical Hirafu style. Certainly a good place to have a break from Soba, Udon and Sushi in a nice timber clad place on the lower village. Thank you for visiting our restaurant. We plan to open until the beginning of May 2018 in this season. We are waiting for your next visit.
