The municipality comprises the towns of Kruishoutem proper, Nokere and Wannegem-Lede. On January 1, 2011, Kruishoutem had a total population of 8,140. The total area is 46.76 km² which gives a population density of 174 inhabitants per km².

One of the few restaurants in Oudenaarde that's open on a Monday! Good pizza and pasta options. Nice decor and surprisingly large once you're inside. We got there early and got a table straight away and by the time we left they were queuing out the door so it is probably worth booking a table. Starters and desserts were a bit expensive but mains and drinks were reasonable. 2 mains with 2 drinks each came in at â¬38.

Since the new part opened in the same restaurant, we've been forgotten 2 times by the owners. Last time happened this: We've asked the card and 40 minutes later they asked if we've already make our choise ... We've ordered an aperitive and our meal. Again 30 minutes later we've got our drinks ... The lady off the house came and asked if we want to order our meal?!?!? We've descided to order again and drink a second aperitive ... We've entered and 2 hours later, we still haven't got our food! We went to the bar and asked to pay for our drinks because we didn't like this at all! The lady of the house was surpised and went to the kitchen ... "Ow ... sorry we were forgotten that order" ... Serious?!?! We've been there a couple of times and it was super, but the 2 last times were a disaster! So, thank you, but it was the last time we went there!

La Rosa Doro is an excellent Italian restaurant offering all sorts of fine Italian dishes.Very friendly staff. Nice interior. Very reasonable prices.Free Limoncello before leaving.Thank you a lot for this reaction.

Italian restaurant open late.Very friendly welcome, the waitress was very kind with the children.The pizzas were good, the salade with parma ham also, the penne 4 fromaggio also.Apparently the pasta-pesto was just too drowning-dripping in pesto sauce. It would be nice if they put it aside and let you decide how much you want in your dish.But it was still a good place open late on sunday evening.

We decided to try this restaurant based on previous reviews on Tripadvisor. Nice location and façade, warm welcome and friendly service. But the interior decoration looks disorganized and sloppy. What is this pile of newspapers doing in the middle of a room that pretends to belong to the better dining establishments in the city? The price/quality ratio is more than acceptable. But the beef tagliata (compare that with Bleu Blanc!) and the tagliatelle with scampi and green asparagus (I can cook this at home) did not completely convince us. Nor did the house wine.

Good food at a very decent price. Food and also the whine is of good quality. As most of the staff has Italian roots, you have the impression to be in Italy. They are also very friendly. Great. Only down side, is when it is bussy, (like on a wednesday, when most of other restaurants in the city are closed) the waiters can't handle it. You will have to wait some time to have your empty plates cleaned and sometimes will need to ask 2 or 3 times after your bill/dessert card.

Nice food and good value for money. But why does it take such a long time to order, serve the dishes, bring the bill, ... I ate here more than once and although the atmosphere is fine and the food is ok, I always have to wait way to long and spend too much time here. Even a quick lunch doesn't work out- you easily need to spend almost 2 hours just to eat a plain and simple pizza.
