I swear they put something in the food. My husband and sons have been eating there every week for 22 years, and woe betide if it's closed. Friendly atmosphere with a regular clientele, and it seems addiictively good food.

Popped in for lunch today with wife and one of the adult kids. Seated quickly. Ordered drinks - 1 of which came wrong, ordered food which came quickly and was usual good F@Bâs quality. Ordered some more sodas which I would estimate were 60% ice - so not good vfm and not consistent with first drinks @ £3.79 each. Waitress was a bit miserable , not connecting with customer. So overall good food with a few disappointing bits in the mix. Paid bill online, a good thing from this chain so you donât have to wait.

A small part of Italy in the hearth of Kettering. The restaurant features authentic Italian cuisine prepared from fresh ingredients by Italian chefs, accompanied by Italian wines, Italian beers even by Italian water! A truly Italian dinning experience. On
It really is rather off-putting from the outside, it would not be unfair to be apprehensive based on appearances alone. However, once you get up the stairs and get inside, it is clean, warm and cozy. The waitress was fantastic, the ârightâ balance of friendly and attentive, the service was excellent. All the little touches such as the complimentary olives and water (with ice, lemon and limes served separately), really makes such an impression. We had pizzas, which were of fantastic quality and very enjoyable. They compared very favourably to pizzas with similar toppings elsewhere. The pizzas were large and generous but we managed to squeeze in a small dessert of tiramisu and one of ice cream, very nice. The two scoops of ice cream came with a strawberry and optional lemon and lime. Everything just seemed thought-through and attention to detail was high. An alcoholic drink, large pizza and dessert for just under £20 each seemed good to us. The toilets are up another flight of stairs and are rather dated decor-wise, but functional and clean. It was surprisingly quiet on a Saturday night, only a couple of other tables were occupied. I really recommend that you try this place next time you fancy Italian. The food quality and service make it so worth it, as long as you take the leap to see beyond the exterior.

Iâd forgotten what a great place this is. The environment is light, airy and spacious. The welcome is warm and genuine. The food is very good indeed â the garlic mushroom pizza was seriously one of the best Iâve ever eaten. It was done to perfection, and very, very tasty. It seemed that every diner was using some sort of voucher (us included), but this didnât stop the service being speedy, friendly and very helpful.Canât wait to go back.

When we stepped in to this restaurant we already knew that we will have a lovely time:)The decoration is modern but romantic at the same time, everything is very clean (included the toilet) and the hospitality of the staff/owners were just exceptional. The place is owned and managed by a very lovely indian couple who really care about customer service experience. Do not miss to visit this place if you want to have a good meal in Kettering

Vivo is a 70 seat restaurant providing an intimate, fun atmosphere for lunch and dinner from Monday to Saturday. Two courses are available every lunchtime and Monday to Thursday evening until 7pm for just £9.95 And a chef's special menu is also available
Really impressive experience here. Loads of parking right outside the door, the restaurant is really nicely decorated. Quite modern, but with a homely feel. The football and Italian memorabilia on display makes you feel like someone has gone to great effort to make the restaurant personal and you can see it means so much to them. Very well stocked bar. First impressions are excellent then, and as we are seated we look though the very comprehensive menu. I challenge anyone to find something on here they cannot/do not want to eat - thereâs steak, fish, pizza, chicken and best of all, fresh authentic pasta. Both our starters were great, though the bread with the oil and balsamic was a little plain. Mains were great, we chose our type of pasta and our kind of sauce and I can honestly say both were really tasty. Desserts were tasty and the barista coffee was perfect too. Portion size was very adequate and we both left stuffed and very happy. Didnât dent the bank balance too much either due to really competitive pricing. So, a nice place, good service, really rather excellent food and all at a good price. What more could you want eh?

This is a traditional Italian pizza place. It has an open kitchen and cooks pizza the traditional way. The pizzas are thicker than you get at the main stream shops and are very filling. They also cook other foods like pasta and spaghetti and you can get drink here. If it's your first visit dont be out off by the outside view, it does look small and dated but defo worth going inside.

Visited last night for my boyfriends birthday, and everything was faultless start to finish. The service was exceptional, and the food was of incredibly high standard, I had The carbonara and my partner had the lobster ravioli, which we both really enjoyed. For desert I had the white choc profiteroles, and partner had a coffee based desert, and they had put a little birthday message on his plate, which just really made our night! The decor was beautiful, and staff were helpful and lovely! Will definitely be back soon!
