We arrived quite late, after being at an orchid show. We were for a while the only patrons and the waiters were courteous and willing to please. The food was very good and the cook didn't mind our asking to make some alterations. They also had a good choice of wine.

We had THE best Italian dinner ever at La Caprese in Juiz de Fora. OMG! Great food, great company & conversation, and Dave Koz playing in the background. We shut the place down chatting so long with the owners. The meat, divine. The pasta, fresh and delicious. The desserts, heavenly. And that northern Italy black rice is to die for! Best limoncello on the planet. â¤ï¸(Bostonâs Little Italy has nothing on this place!). We cannot wait to return!

I've rarely had a bad pizza in Brazil and Assunta's was no exception. The room is beautiful, the prices are somewhat high and the service is average, so I expected the pizza to be exceptional. It wasn't. If you want a pizza that is much better than mediocre, go elsewhere.

I visited this restaurant with my family last year while in Juiz de Fora. The atmosphere is great, the pizza has a thin crust, but you can choose from wonderful combination of flavors. Kids have a special area where they can make their own pizza and see it baking. That will give a break from parents while they have fun with other kids. Its a must see and must try place!
