Theo's

I ordered my favorite dish today, chicken rigatoni. You could see that it had been perfect under a half gallon of marinara sauce the cook decided to add because, the waitress said, he thought it looked “dry”. I sent it back and she brought it back the same way again and told me to eat it. So neither the cook nor the wait staff know Italian food. I was already tolerating the fact that Theo uses ziti in place of rigatoni in the dish. Now this. I won’t be back ever! And we had been going like once a week... my mother’s chicken broccoli Alfredo was terrible too. Too much sauce!!

First of all let me say Sixty Seven Pizza has the best salad ever. Salad, Pizza, Spaghetti and Garlic Bread are included in the buffet price. Their pizza is okay and they will fix you any kind you request. It is always very clean and the people at the checkout are always very friendly. We live about 40 minutes away but make at least two trips a month here.

Easy to get in and out for take out. They have a good chicken stromboli, but just isn't large enough any more and they no longer have a large size.

Usually do take out from this restaurants and they have a great pizza, but decided to eat in tonight with someone who had never eaten there. What a disappointment (except for the pizza that I had)! We ordered then sat down, but had to clear the table ourselves as none were cleaned off to accommodate 3 people. We waited and waited for what felt like close to 15 minutes before our drinks came. As we waited, I saw the one waitress take stuff to other tables and pass by empty handed tables that needed clearing. I really wanted to clear them off myself it was bothering me that much, Within our sight, 2 tables full of dirty dishes. (At least she did wipe ours off when we sat down). A family came in looking for a place to sit and ended up not sure where, but not within site of our table. Another family came in and finally cleared a spot themselves so that they could sit down. One of our meals had a salad with it, must have been 30 minutes when it came. Finally, after what must have been 40 minutes, our pizza came. Two of us ate on the pizza which was good, but I had eaten 2 slices by the time the other meal came for the 3rd person. I even got up between slices to go see if it was waiting on the counter or something, partially just to make my presence known to the waitress. When the meal did come, it had so much liquid and the chicken had no flavor that the person ended up eating only a few bites. I kept apologizing and saying that this was not normal as I have eaten in many times and never had the service been so bad. (or the food). By the time we finally left, the tables around us that needed to be cleared, still needed to be cleared and this must have been more than an hour into being there and the place was not full. Got up to counter to pay and told credit card machine not working, luckily we had the cash. Not even asked how things were. Left and third person still hungry, was going home to get a peanut butter sandwich that I am sure only took a moment to make and was better than the meal they had wanted. Where oh where did my old Amalfi's go?? I used to love that place, but now they have lost a new customer and maybe some old ones as well.
