Southwest of Seville, Jerez is a well-heeled place. It’s the home of the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art and its famous dancing horses; if you’re on a budget or can’t be there for a formal performance, it’s worth dropping in to catch a morning training session. The other major reason to visit Jerez is to sample its most famous product—sherry. You can do this at a number of bodegas associated with the world’s best-known brands, including Bodegas Tio Pepe, The House of Sandeman, Jerez, and Pedro Domecq. They’ll soon have you knowing your amontillado from your oloroso. There’s also an Alcázar, dating back to the time of the Almohads, which features a small mosque, now the chapel of Santa María Real.

This restaurant is clearly popular and can quite understand. The food is great and the staff are great. The place can be difficult to find but it's on Google Maps so not that difficult ! On picture I have shown the corner to look for when coming from the main road down San Isidro street. The restaurant serves all types of pizza and many other dishes including for lunch a â¬8.50 Menu del Dia - super sized dishes so please come with an appetite !

We had the menu del dia @ 9.90. 3 Courses, drink and bread included. The Cesar salad was fresh and a complete plateful while the solomillo in sauce was delicious. Profiteroles or panna cotra for postres What a great value lunch. If you can match this quality, quantity and price you are doing very well indeed.Thank you so much for your comment. I ate here a few years ago with some trackday buddies and back then I wasnât impressed. However, on this last visit, they have improved the decor considerably and itâs very tastefully done. However, with all restaurants, itâs all about the food and service and let me tell you there is still need for improvements. Firstly, our waiter was very friendly and we managed to converse in Italian, as my Spanish is still in its infancy and his English pretty much the same. We placed our orders, authentic buffalo mozzarella caprese and arancini to start. My daughter ordered the amatricana pasta without chilli and me a pizza. The mozzarella arrived and trust me I know the difference between buffalo mozzarella and normal mozzarella. In my opinion it was not as listed. It was a normal mozzarella drizzled with a very salty pesto and a let down in my opinion. The arancini are quite large and often this can be issue to get them served hot in the middle. This was exactly the case. The meat inside is still cold and again a let down. My daughters pasta arrived with chilli and she couldnât eat it. As for the pizza, Iâm not a huge fan. Although the pizza is cooked in a wood fired oven, the pizza based are way too thin with hardly any crust. As if the dough hasnât been proved for long enough. They are nothing like authentic Italian pizzas, trust me I should know. At no stage during the entire meal did any of the waiting staff ask if everything was ok. I find it a little strange as itâs a great way to gain customer feedback and possibly pass back to the kitchen or floor management. However, Iâm really glad to see the place is busy with lots of happy customers. Even at midnight which is when we arrived. Keep up the good work.
