Family owned Sicilian Restaurant, serving traditional Sicilian Dishes. Pizza cooked in wood burning oven. From caponata antipasto to grilled swordfish, or the traditional pastas such as pasta alla norma to spaghetti con ragu.. Simplicity is the Key! And c
Sicilian Trattoria was chosen by a family member for our Mother's Day dinner. It wasn't crowded and there was no waiting. The atmosphere is fine, if not a bit noisy. Before saying anything else, I must compliment the staff as they were friendly and attentive the entire evening. Each woman at the table was given a rose, which was lovely. The food was a different story. Many of us had the Romaine Salad to begin. It was basically most of a head of romaine with the bottom cut off and shaped like a teepee on a plate. There were a few croutons, a splash of an overly strong anchovy vinaigrette and a few crumbs of Parmesan cheese. I never thought romaine could taste dry, but this did. It was not a good salad and it should have been.Oldest son had the grilled salmon. It was a small piece and was not grilled, though the claim was that it was lightly grilled. He sent it back and it came back actually grilled, though a bit overdone. Middle son had pasta with smoked salmon. He said it was okay. Most of us had Dover Sole with veggies and risotto. It was one of the worst meals I have ever eaten. While hubby pointed out the sole was not fried, it felt like I was eating dried out fish fry. There was more crunchy crust than fish. It was like no other Dover Sole I've ever seen (and I love Dover Sole). The veggies were fine, though a bit oily and overcooked (green beans). The risotto was like eating watery, flavorless, under-cooked Cream of Wheat; it was that awful. There is no way someone tasted this before serving it to customers. I tried salt and pepper and nothing helped. It was just awful and I wish I didn't have to say that. Our fish dishes were $24 or more and not at all worth the price. The salads were overpriced as well. We skipped coffee and dessert. Needless to say, we will not be returning. Even though it was a disappointing Mother's Day dinner, the love of family could not be diminished.

It's a new name but still the same people making everything and still the best pizza around. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Same address, even same phone number - just a new name - Vinny's. Pizza is consistently good, thin crust, great sauce, just the right amount of cheese. Bella's opened a second location and then sold the original to the former manager (at least I think so - every time I go in there everyone is the same). It's the only place in the area (Abington, Jenkintown, Glenside) that I would go to for pizza.

A fabulous, glamorous gem of a restaurant located in the Fox Chase area of northeast Philadelphia providing delicious, gourmet Italian food for over 30 years. The finest & freshest ingredients are used in all our dishes: featuring veal & seafood specialti
MoonstruckWhat you need to know-Price- $100 before tip to include- several glasses of wine, three course dinner special one app and one entry.Food- basically Italian cuisine, always nicely cooked and seasoned. The menu covers pasta thru fish. There are generally several specials. Donât think we have ever had a poor entry and have eaten here many times. Will highly recommend the spinach gnocchi as some of the very best we have ever enjoyed. Will also mention the chocolate gelato, also amazing.Ambiance- Upscale, probably 150 seats, separated into smaller spaces using, glass, mirrors and white woodwork. Pleasing and comfortable but can be noisy.Service- generally very attentive and professional. Service was lacking at this most recent outing. Our experience- another pleasant evening with good food. No doubt in our mind one of the few good restaurants anywhere near our neighborhood.

In looking for a restaurant for dinner before a show at the Keswick Theatre, we realized Trevi was in the right location for a pre-show meal. We were delighted with our starter salad (big enough for two to share) and each of our entrees. The wait staff was delightful and helped us make informed choices from the menu. This is definitely worth a return visit.Yes, Trevi is BYOB but they offer house-made Chianti and Pino Grigio. We look forward to tasting them on our next visit.

Francesco's has, and always will be, my favorite place to eat. They have authentic Italian food and I have never gotten something I didn't like. They make the best red sauce I have ever tasted and it pairs perfect with their homemade spaghetti. We normally go on Monday nights for all you can eat Dungeness crabs and love them. If you like Italian food, this is the place for you.

Went with my bride and adult daughter for a celebratory dinner! We've been customers several times before. As always, they met our expectations. My bride had the special of the day....the Italian sampler...with alfredo, ravioli and chicken parm...she was very satisfied....my daughter had the Penne with shrimp and lobster....another evening special....enjoyed it, as well....although the lobster portion of the entree was modest, at best....I had the cheesesteak......as always, it was excellent!!! They do a good job with the finer menu items as well as the more basic. And, as always, the BYOB option is a huge plus! Service was great....and the atmosphere is pleasant...not pretentious.

I visited on a Saturday evening with some family to celebrate a birthday. We were a party of four and were seated right away. This is a cozy local spot I have frequented for lunch or drinks in the past Our server was pleasant as was the other staff in the restaurant. We had as appetizers crab cakes and octopus which were delicious. Our entrees included a bronzino and jumbo shrimp dish which was awesome, a pasta special they had that evening (linguine and shrimp I believe), manicotti, and rack of lamb. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We also tried several drinks along with a couple desserts including cannoli and apple crumb. We had a pleasant evening and will definitely return again.

Salmon perfectly prepared. Calamari and Jalapenos didn't even have one jalapeno. However, possibly the best calamari ever, Very fresh and well prepared. Seafood Rissoto alone, is worth a return visit. Great service and atmosphere. Oh, it's a BYOB!
