Since 1993, upscale Italian classics draw crowds to our elegant dining room with a piano bar, in the heart of the French Quarter.
Wow - by far the best meal I had in New Orleans. I didn't have reservations so they sat me at the bar. I ordered duck and was not disappointed in this dish! The skin was crispy and the meat was so juicy. They also gave me Bruschetta before the food was served which was absolutely unexpected and delicious. I highly recommend eating here whenever you come to New Orleans!!

Wonderful experience- pick your wine and enjoy a fabulous dinner. Great atmosphere, delicious food and great service staff. We enjoyed a great dinner- spaghetti bolognese and chicken molli - portions are a perfect size. If youâre in this area you should not miss an opportunity to eat here.

We had the creamy italian and blue cheese vinaigrette on our salads and neither one was exceptional. Would not get again. Wife had parmesan crusted chicken and was not impressed. I had the chicken carbonara and was shocked to find that the chicken was not grilled but was a "breaded" cutlet. Was like chicken fried steak with cheese gravy. Would not recommend. For an Italian restaurant the bread basket was a complete disappointment. Junk bread with an onion flavored butter. Decor was 2 star anywhere else in the country but for NOLA I would give it 4 stars. Felt like you were a made man on Goodfellas.

A"damn"mazing. We have been coming to New Orleans for 8 years. We stay in the Garden District Hotels near Slice. The first year we came we went to Slice and have been coming back ever since. The food at slice is amazing. I think of it as a neighborhood restaurant. It's kind of nondescript but the people are nice and the food is great. Salad greens are fresh. The bread pudding is delicious. We went once just for the bread pudding. They have a good selection of beer too.

Domenica is a contemporary and inviting Italian restaurant that creates regional Italian dishes with southern and middle eastern influences. The cuisine combines Chef Alon Shaya's Israeli heritage and love of local ingredients with a menu that reflects hi
I had never gone to Domenica for two reasons. First, why eat pizza (or italian food) with so many better local options in NOLA? Second, because the restaurant always looked so fancy for my taste. We'll I have to admit I was missing out on something amazing. Went on a Wednesday afternoon for their happy hour and boy I was very impressed by everything!Yes it is kind of a more formal setting than my usual New Orleans fare, but for lunch or late lunch you don't feel under dressed in a Polo shirt and shorts.Service was top notch! Beside the roasted pork pizza (that was really out of this world) we ordered the squid ink tagliolini, the meatballs and the roasted cauliflower to share. All this with a nice bottle of Sangiovese wine.It was truly one of the finest meals my family and friends had in New Orleans.
