I have been hearing about this place for a few months now so we have decided to test it out. We had family sunday lunch with small birthday celebration. The menu was excellent offering good variety of dishes. Not too many dishes as I get suspicious whether products are fresh. It has offered a diverse choice suitable to all tastes and the products were certainly fresh and carefully selected. The wine choice was also very good (pity I was designated driver but my husband has indulged). The highlight was maialino dish; very tender and juicy. Compliments to the chef.We had three/four course meal at very reasonable price. Superior quality, lovely interior and super nice service. It was our first visit but certainly not the last. We loved it :-)Thank you! Sorry for my bad english but i desire to answer you. I wait you and your family to taste our specialities that change every month and the special menu for the event like next woman's day or Easter or to taste our new Young proposal IL GIROPASTA

Excellent food and perfect to spend a lunch break .. nice "view" of the surrounding ... if you know what I mean ... being so close to Ispra and the JRC the people coming to this place is fun and really nice. A place you must visit ... by the way, the golf teacher (Nicoletta) is one of best of the pack.

We stopped by La Bruma a week ago for lunch. It was a beautiful day and the terrace was bustling; consequently, service was a bit slow, albeit professional enough. We sat next to a table that looked like it might be dirty, but had a tablecloth draped over it.I ordered entrecote, which was served lukewarm with roasted potatoes and was a little bit gristly. I got the sense that it sat for a few minutes before it reached the table, which isn't unexpected given how busy the waitress was. My husband had a salmon dish with cauliflower mayonnaise that he enjoyed, although he said it was a bit salty. Bread was brought out, but it didn't not appear to be homemade. We did enjoy a lovely bottle of wine and our desserts were excellent. I had a chocolate souffle and my husband had what appeared to be a deconstructed cheesecake in a glass.I noticed a couple of people having spaghetti and I kind of wished I'd ordered that. It looked very good. All in all, it wasn't a terrible experience, but there was some room for improvement. The inside of the restaurant is very nice, though.

In an Agriturismo, the spacious dining area had wonderful service (speaking only in Italian), and with a limited but delicious selection of courses. The antipasti was delicious and accompanied by various condimenti such as agrodolce herbs (marmalade-like), with the flan/custard of peas being my favorite. The risotto of strawberries was very good, and nicely soupy as preferred (and the usual in this region), but not as redolent of strawberries as desired. A half liter of local white wine (Pinot Grigio) accompanied and was good. We were both VERY full with that the antipasti and the risotto. Good experience, and for two people the total was only â¬46.

If you look at the number of reviews in Italian (vs. English) and consider the location (out in the country, not on the lakefront) (not a problem for the navigation system) this place is one of those hidden gems. The other reviews say it all. Excellent quality ingredients. Friendly and attentive service. Restaurant is upstairs above the stables. There is an a la carte menu, but they seem to steer you towards the full dinner. Turn on the GPS and give it a try.

This restaurant is very popular and booking essential. Time should be left to find a car-parking space as well! The view is towards the east over Lake Maggiore. Service was attentive and the locally made breads were excellent. The octopus leg was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. The raviolis were good as a secundi. The main tempura vegetable and fish dish was huge and the tempura slightly on the thick side. The other main course was slightly under-seasoned for my taste.A pleasant evening as acouple enjoying nice food on the lakeside

Visited in winter 2017 with our Italian friends for dinner. I don't think I have ever had such a feast! The chef was practically creating food to our hearts desire as soon as we would name a dish he would disappear for few minutes and return with a delicious mouth watering plate of unforgettable taste and aroma! We had almost everything on the menu started with pasta and rissotto dishes continued to black ink pasta then fish on a top crust pastry then sorbet to clear the way...and off to a variety of incredible desserts! All of course with some Italian wine and proseco. Service was of royal standard I will never forget this night!Thank you to Vincenzo and Luisa for recommending this place to us, dont miss !!

Ispra was my base for some cycling training and I was given the tip to try Robyâs by a local.Great fresh food with a nice variety of daily specials at an unbeatable price. I ended up coming back here every evening and enjoyed a whole range of excellent pasta dishes.Roby is a relaxed, well-traveled and very hospitable Dutchman who has lived in Italy for a long time and developed his passion for Italian cooking. He also speaks a whole range of languages. And Roby was also very welcoming to my dog who accompanied me each evening.I will certainly be back on my next visit to Ispra on the beautiful Lago Maggiore.thank you much for your review, hope to see you soon, enjoy your staying!
