We ordered 1 pane cunzato (pre-made) and 1 tuna kebab. The pane filling was very thin but it was still very tasty. The kebab wasnât a kebab in the way I think of it (ie, on a stick). It was just a sandwich on a hamburger roll instead of panini bread. 11e for the 2, it did the job but I wouldnât call it fantastic.

Big and nice garden perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner or Even an icecream or an aperitivo in the afternoon. If the weather ask to, there is the possibility to eat in nice room inside the restaurant.
I visited this restaurant with my friends as we wanted something special for our friend's birthday. The location was perfect- the outdoor seating area in the garden was very pleasant. The food was good, nothing extraordinary however. The portions were not as I expected. I ordered king prawns, and all I had were 4 tiny prawns in a plate. The bottarga pasta was definitely the best dish from the whole menu.

We love favignana we love food we love people
We were blown away by the service we received from the moment we walked into Sotto Sale. Maria was fantastic, an absolute asset to the restaurant and, to be honest, a main reason weâd come back again. She felt like a long lost friend from the moment we sat down, suggesting the best dishes in English for us and recommending exquisite wines that were very reasonably priced (not the top end that she couldâve blindly sold us on). The Crudo Di Mare starter (assorted sashimi) was deliciously fresh, a Japanese touch that hit the mark. But the mains were absolutely scrumptious. The Fusilloni Gamberi Rossi Crudi (prawn pasta) was exquisite, one of the best pasta dishes Iâve ever had in my life. I could eat it every day. My husband had the Spaghetti Burro Affumicato (anchovy pasta) which was just as good and again, showcased the islandâs seafood. I honestly canât thank Maria and her team enough though. She entertained us through dinner but was never intrusive and gave us excellent recommendations. Nothing was too much and we walked away with a three course meal each, a bottle of wine, glass of dessert wine and fantastic service for â¬60 each! Maria continued to greet us whenever she saw us on the island and going out of her way to say hello. Thank you so much to Maria and the team at Sotto Sale, you were the highlight of our trip to Favignana!

Restaurants in Favignana are quite expensive. Cibo in Piazza is a nice place to have various and delicious panini and arancini to take away or to eat on one of the few tables outside. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

If I was able to describe how excellent they are, I would be the Great Bard himself, William Shakespeare. Se fossi in grado di descrivere quanto è buono ciò che mangerete qui sarei il Sommo Vate in persona, Dante Alighieri.

The only one, but very local type of sandwiches with fresh bread, olive oil, sweet tomatoes, capers the owner collecting by himself at the same seaside, ancouves, and home made dry oregano. Simply amazing! Worth to rent a skuter in the bay and drive here to have picnic with breathtaking view!

This is a new restaurant, visited twice during recent stay. The staff and chef were very friendly and accommodating, always willing to make an effort for our requests. Food was very fresh and seasonal, relaxing environment in nice architect designed space located in the centre on a quiet side street just moments from main squares. If you can book ahead for specific dietary requirements it would be advisable.
