Just had an amazing evening at Roccoâs. Warm and friendly with outstanding cuisine. Donât leave until Mark sings...he trained voice at Eastman. Started weâre buffalo and heirloom tomatoes...so ripe and seeet. The buffalo was creamy and tangy. Then pulpo on skewers. Then pizza del giorno. The steak. Then now vin santo but something Mark recommended. When heâs not doing an aria, the soundtrack is pure blues with a focus on Van Morrison. Could be the perfect restaurant. And your wallet wonât mind a bit. Amazing value. Thanks for making a trip to Rochester so tasty!

Huge portion of poorly prepared food, is not a bargain. I started with a calamari salad that was a acidic soup. Easily a 1/2 cup of vinigar in bottom of bowl which cooked the lettuce into a mushy mess. I then had the lobster rissotto which was burnt. My husband had calamari in a tomato sauce over pasta which smelled of dead fish. We had a lovely waitress, the only good thing I can say about this overcrowded, overpriced restaurant.

Very good restaurant in Corn Hill Landing. Right on the river. Nice in the summer for walking after lunch. Parking can be difficult. Very good food and service. Wood fired pizzas and good pasta dishes.

I normally go here as a last minute decision and buy out of the case. They have cheese pizza by the slice and garlic sticks, among other things. Garlic sticks are my favorite!!!

We went one evening with my Stepdaughter, her Husband, and our 1 year old Granddaughter. The last time there we were being told we were going to be Grandparents. Ridiculous we waited so long to come back. We did not have reservations and they were booked and as we stood outside contemplating next steps, they came out and said they would accommodate us. Everyone fawned over Emmie and she was transfixed by our server. App was an amazing white bean dip. I had the eggplant entree that came with a beautiful salad and I ordered one meatball. Although I shared some there was more than enough to bring home and it was excellent. My Husband has a pasta dish with shrimp that were huge and he was delighted. Our Daughter and her Husband split a pizza and 1 other dish that was excellent. At the start they brought Emmie a childâs cup with a straw. A very urban farm to table restaurant that is accommodating, child friendly and utterly delicious, within reasonable prices. We will be back much sooner this time

Today was pizza night and like always we select delivery. The pizza was delicious and still pipping hot. My son loved his 2 pepperoni slices, ginger ale and chocolate chip cookie combo. I ordered the sausage, steak and pepperoni pizza with the buffalo wings for the rest of our family and I had the steak sub. We will like always order in the near future.

From the pictures lining the walls of family and Italian celebrities, to the music and menu, it's just what you'd expect of an old school Italian restaurant. The owner looks ancient, and walks around whistling and singing and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Menu items are just what you'd expect, except instead of serving salads to the table, the salad is an antipasto salad bar. I liked that since normally I have to pick off onions and other stuff that I don't like. My chicken Marsala was tender and tasty, and as is typical of these places, plenty of it. Tables on the east side get views of Sea Breeze amusement park and you can hear the people scream on the thrill rides. If we lived closer, we'd probably go back.

The layout of Ristorante Lucano rambles, much like someone's home. Several small dining rooms create an intimate setting. Owners Chuck and JoAnn Formoso host and are genuinely concerned that their guests have a good experience. They are well versed in fine Italian dining, well beyond the usual cliches. Many of the staff have been with Lucanoâs for a long time and seem to share the Formosoâs vision. The menu only tells half the story, as there are usually many imaginative starter and main specials available. Seafood is generally on the specials menu, to take advantage of the freshest and best available.Recently I had the Barramundi fish, prepared with a Panko and walnut crust and finished with a citrus beurre blanc. It was heavenly! I chose the haricots verts and candied carrots as my side dishes. The carrots were drizzled with fragrant fresh honey and were really nice. My dining companions were very pleased with their braised veal shanks and beef tenderloin.Weâve dined at Ristorante Lucano several times in the past and have never been disappointed in this lovely family establishment, that tries very hard and usually succeeds beautifully.

We took my son and is girlfriend for his 21st birthday. Made a reservation weeks in advance for a 6pm weeknight dinner. Upon arrival, reminded the hostess of the special event. She was less than interested in her job when we arrived and actually told me to "hold on" while she walked over to speak with other employees. She took us to a table on the outdoor patio. Our server was very nice. I went back inside and asked if we could move to an open table overlooking the river and she said no, those tables were reserved for a 6:30pm dinner. I was said no problem, just thought I'd ask. At about 7:00pm, to her credit, she came over to apologize for not moving us because the party no-showed. For this, she gave my son a dessert on the house. Very nice gesture. After reviewing the dessert menu, which included dessert coffees, he selected a coffee but was told the offer only included desserts, not coffee. So, he declined the dessert. Food was good. Service was good. We enjoyed the view and atmosphere.

Pasta Villa is a family owned Italian-American restaurant with the emphasis on family. We celebrated our 20th anniversary in 2012 & are looking forward to 20 more! From homemade pastas to handcut steaks, we offer something for everyone. We pride ourselves
While in town for a shopping weekend, we went to Pasta Villa because it was close to our hotel. What an amazing experience we had! The service is top notch! Extremely professional and knowledgeable. We decided to split the Escarole special for our appetizer. It was to die for! Lovely sautéed escarole in olive oil with prosciutto, artichoke hearts, garlic and something red (red pepper? Sorry not sure.). My husband, who is not a huge vegetable lover, thoroughly enjoyed it. I could have eaten it all, it was so good (but I had to share). A salad or soup came with our meals. We chose the salad. They were very fresh and tasty. Then the entrees. Hubby had chicken Parmesan with linguini. The chicken breast was massive! Our server suggested the vodka sauce, which I had on the gnocchi. I added a meatball, as well. It was delicious. The vodka sauce was so flavourful and they put generous pieces of prosciutto in it. The meatball was so tender. There was so much food that we brought more than half of it home. We would highly recommend this little Italian family owned and operated restaurant!
