Charming atmosphere. Great service from Lisa. Check their online coupons. And yes their Detroit style pizza is worth the trip. Eight slices is more the enough for 3-4. Especially if you get a salad. Excellent prices on beer. Give it a try for something different and fun Maria, it is fantastic to hear that our pizza is worth the trip! Thank you for sharing your kind remarks and we're pleased to know you're a Buddy's Pizza fan. We look forward to serving you the next time you're in town.

15 Person Team Lunch in August 2018. Food was not good. Many of the dishes could not be finished due to taste. All the folks who ordered soups just left it untouched. The folded pizza and general pizza were very average and too expensive.Eggplant parmigiana ( my barometer for good Italian Food) fell flat. The salad as ok.Not my recommendation for Italian Restaurant.
This is a very good place to get good food at a good price. It is a roomy restaurant, with a very diverse menu. I don't live in the area, but I meet a friend there a couple times a year to catch on things. We have a meal and spend the rest of the time talking. The waitstaff is helpful and courteous. I've have both breakfast and lunch there. My fav is a veggie breakfast wrap made with eggbeaters and I ask to have turkey sausage added. Yum! The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. Garden City Cafe is definitely worth the visit.

We went here for a business meal, and realized this was more family dining and nothing special despite the fancy name suggesting otherwise. The menu really does not specialize in a specific theme, and I think that contributes to the "average" dining experience. There is no alcohol served.

Wonderful restaurant with great staff serving excellent Italian food and steaks. The menu offers some interesting twists on traditional Italian and steakhouse fare: I had filet medallions stuffed with gorgonzola over polenta with perfectly cooked asparagus. Mouth-watering! The singing act in the bar was very loud in the restaurant area, so ask for seating well away from the bar if you want to talk during dinner.

We hosted a luncheon for 28 persons at Antonia's Cucina and could not be happier about our experience. The food is excellent. Pastas and sauces (even the salad dressing) and bread are all made on site from scratch. The eggplant parmesan is exceptional as is their Covatelli Bolognese. The servers, Carol and Helena, were very attentive and friendly (while being careful not to interrupt any conversations). Even though we all ate a lot from the family style platters, no one left behind any of the delicious spumoni served as dessert. The vegetarian pasta Fagioli was fabulous. Highly recommended for parties or couples.

My wife and I always took her Aunt here when we came to visit her from Chicago. Sadly she passed in November at age 101. We came to visit her grave, old home in Redford where I loved sleeping in the enclosed from porch and see Detroit. DeLucaâs is the best Italian food Iâve had. Itâs not fancy, but what Iâve had at many an Italian home. DeLucaâs hasnât changed inside since weâve been visiting here the last 25 years. That is a good thing. I had mostaccioli Parmesan with meatballs & sausage and my wife had her meat ravioli. We shared a carafe of wine and made a toast to her late Aunt Annabelle who introduced us to the best Italian food in Detroit.

If you are flying out of, or into Detroit Metro Airport and want to some dinnertlunch before or after your flight, I highly recommend this tucked away hidden gem...Located just north of I-94 on the east side of Merriman Rd. is this tasty, authentic Italian restaurant. We really enjoy the bruschetta plate as an appetizer. We eat it all, and typically up taking our entree home in a clam shell. There is a bar with a large selection to chose from. There is also carry out pizza through a separate entrance. Outdoor seating is available on those pleasant evenings. However, it the wind is right, you will be in the flight plan for takeoff from the airport. It that kind of thing doesn't bother you, the outdoor seating is very nice. During the cooler evenings heat is provided through patio heaters. When we are in the mood for a great pizza, or an authentic Italian plate. This is where we go. It's not too far from our home (20 minutes). We visit often. If this review has helped you make a decision to visit this hidden gem, please give it a thumbs up. Thank you. I really appreciate it. Happy Dining!Hello, thanks for your awesome review! We're so happy you had a great experience with us. We hope to see you again soon!

We came here because people recommended it for "Detroit style" pizza. Turns out, that's really just the equivalent of a Pizza Hut style pizza. That being said, it was delicious and the service was great and the prices were cheap. Would recommend for what it is.Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are happy to hear you found our pizza delicious and your recommendation means a lot. If there is anything else we can do to ensure your next visit is worthy of five-stars, please give us a call at 1-800-965-0505. Thank you.
