We took our dear friend (and a long time local resident) here for her birthday last week and I was very pleased by the nice decor in the restaurant and the wonderful personal service we had by the owner! The pizza is the BEST in the country and we are pizza snobs. In fact, my wife is gluten intolerant and this pizza didn't bother her a bit. It's a little on the pricey side for Ecuador, but for this special occasion it was worth it.

Fisicamente el lugar es pequeño, lo que hace que la experiencia sea mas intima, ideal para celebraciones romanticas o cumpleaños con los mas allegados, ellos te preparan el ambiente de acuerdo a la celebracion lo que hace que la experiencia sea inolvidable y personalizada. Lo recomiendo para aniversarios o san valentin. La sazon y la presentacion de la comida es excelente! razon por la que el servicio demora un poco, sin embargo la espera vale la pena. En cuanto al precio esta totalmente acorde a la calidad del producto. De vez en cuando tienen eventos especiales como musica en vivo o festival de cerveza lo que hace que eeste sitio tenga un plus para quienes gustan de cosas diferentes ademas de comer.

This place is located in the center of the city of Ibarra, this particular pizzeria is served by Its owners preserves all the colonial features inside the pizzeria. In the place are realized Andean music presentations.The pizza is delicious whit lot cheese and some varieties of ingredients, the prices are moderate and they have a variety of typical desserts. This pizzeria is one of the best that offers Its food cooked in wood oven, the menú they offer is good and varied. Although somewhat difficult to reach because of the rocky road up Mount Cotacachi, the destination is worth the trip. You will be dining in a 300 year old hacienda, with many antiques. You feel that you have been welcomed to a friends home - because that is the case. Although we were only 2 couples for dinner on a Sunday evening, the entire menu was available, and each selection was excellent ... soup, salad, shrimp entree, and steak. Deserts were tops. Well worth the trip for the food, atmosphere, views, and friendship.

This small pizzeria offers good gourmet pizzas...all ingredients are carefully chosen and best of all...natural..the staff is very friendly doing everything to please the customers...we had a ham/mozzarella family sized pizza...just perfect...great smell...even better taste...

We were so happy to find Ristorante Roma in Cotacachi. After 3 weeks in Ecuador, we were searching for an alternative to the heavy meat and potatoes Ecuadorian food. The outside of this restaurant didnât draw us in but once we were inside, we found it to be an attractive small and cozy space. We live in California where the quality of Italian food is very high so didnât have high expectations about Italian food in Cotacachi. But! We were delighted to find that the food here was quite delicious. The pizza had a wonderful crisp crust and was Italian styleânot overly cheesy and the sausage was Italian sausage, not the hot dog sausage we had on other pizzas in Ecuador. The pasta was al dente and very well seasoned, flavorful. What a wonderful surprise! The chef was Italian and a lovely guy.
