I did not expect this level of food from a simple cafe next to the ocean. I just wanted to eat pasta for lunch. I did not want to go to a pasta restaurant near here because that one has small volume. I tried this Emi cafe, I made a right choice. The food was so beautifully done and warm hand made from scratch kind. I ordered pizza bread and peperoncino pasta to share with my 2 kids. Both meals came with beautiful Bagna cà uda, rosemary bread and a drink. I sat outside table because my kids are a bit noisy. That was a good choice too. I would definitely go back and I want try dinner too.

Just the edge of Ichinomiya beach street on the highway side (north side), you will see a rooster mark with nice brick building with patio. It has car parks on the beach street side and also behind the building. We got there too late at 2:50 in the afternoon, lunch time was over so we had gelato. Single was about 400yen, very nice and fresh. They are not open for dinner.We really wanted to eat there so we went back there a week later on Saturday 11:00 in the morning when just they started serving lunch. We ordered the full course menu that comes with drink, salad, pizza, pasta, and their specialty roast chicken. The course is made for 2 people. They have other courses for single person too. Everything was nice, hot and crispy. Very nice. The place is not that big, it will probably take about 16-18 people beside the patio. The whole restaurant was full before 12:30. The owner chief and a waitress was more than full occupied when all the seats are taken. I do not know if the foods arrived timely to 12:30 guests. That is the only concern I had. If I were to go back there again, I would go before 12:00.The full course was about 3000yen for 2 people and gelato it was about 4000yen for two. Which is not cheap in the area. The owner is nice and taste good. The price is same as Tokyo and volume is not much. I like the owner and the food but one meal is not enough so I have to order two meals to get full. Then it becomes expensive. I took my kids with. They have kids meal.
