This is one of the few more elegant restaurants in Ica, Peru.
We had breakfast there. It's a clean and neat place. You pay 39 soles and you get a buffet with fresh juice (orange, pineapple, ..) ham, cheese, bread, fruit salad, tamal, sausages, muffins, cakes, etc. and hot drinks of course. You can eat as long as you're hungry. The small tomato/basil/mozarella sandwiches are really good, so is the omelette (ham and cheese, very rich one !)The waiters are really professional and nice.

The restaurant was located close to our hotel in a good neighbourhood. However, the pizzas we ordered tasted of nothing. The crust was thick and not so crunchy. In addition, the price was way too high for the size and quality. 45 soles for a regular pizza.

The place is certainly located in one of the better areas of town and the prices are equal to those in comparable restaurants in Lima (or the not NYC US, non-London city center UK or Germany apart from Munich). The pizza, however, is purely average to me. Needed to put a lot of oregano and chilly powder onto it to make it taste like something. Service in Peru is generally not world class and this place is no exception to the rule.

Had a great meal at Peñonetti. My friends and I were quite happy with the food, service and setting. Great pizzas, especially their house specialty and a nice assortment of local wines. Definitely recommend a visit when youâre in Ica. Will be going back!

Restaurant of ancestral tradition, with 60 years of service, giving careful attention in a warm and family atmosphere.
Smallish but nice place with a little garden outside. Pizza was more American than Italian but the crust was crunchy and not overwhelming in taste. Jugo de fresa was really good and not the typical Peruvian sweetness. Service was excellent - our waiter appeared every now and then to check on us and was nice and helpful. This place is definitely worth its price (which isn't that bad compared to similar places) and I recommend a visit.
